Even though I've served my Country well (30+ years w/ DoD), and America has been VERY good to me and my family, I've watched in horror as we have intervened in other nation's affairs. After the French left Indochina 1954/55 Vietnam was to have had Free Elections. When US State Dept saw that about 70% of SOUTH Vietnamese would vote for Ho Chi Minh we promptly "postponed" the Free Elections. Democracy?? Not this time around. 58,000+ Americans died because we didn't allow THAT Free Election...

@Sepheroth66 Marx, Lenin, and especially Trotsky were all active proponents of worldwide revolution and communist takeover, as well as extermination of all bourgeoisie, all "kulaks", all land owners, and all non-communists. They envisioned an aggressive expansionist communist society founded on mass-murder. Stalin disagreed with Trotsky, but instead he saw the Soviet Union as more of a dictatorship, and did not believe worldwide revolution was possible, favoring proxy wars and conquest instead.

There's a lot wrong with this propaganda film. They seem to not know what happened in Germany during the Nazi time and at the same time put Nazi Germany on the same line as soviet Russia. I guess that's a core reason why a lot of US Americans I know + those you see on TV have severe problems differing between Nazis & Communists.

@BitnikGr - You're very observant. It's a military propaganda film. That being said, I agree that those lions on the wall in those scenes appear to be out of character. It looks like a make shift court room in the field somewhere, like a castle or something. Russia took several castles in what used to be East Prussia, could be in one of those. I agree that it's not a normal Russian court room is all, no way of knowing if it is staged or a field trial. A lot of uniformed soldiers for a court

@aReaganDesignee When I said couple of mistakes, I didn't mean lions on the wall... I mean literally... grammar and pronunciation mistakes in prosecutor's speech. From their I made a conclusion that it is an actor, but speaking russian language.

Lions were just an addition to that.

There is another thing also... uniform of prosecutor is more like German one... but I am not sure about it, that's why I didn't mention it in first place.

@BitnikGr the prosecutor's in every red-pig state were mostly accepted, and made prosecutors if they had the so-called "healthy origins", meaning if they were ileterate peasants or sons/daughters of peasants, and if they were also pary members with a pretty high rank or party activists, then law school was a piece of cake. so the mispronunciations and other gramar mistakes aren't exactly something valuable

@Agent1W This is not fully true. If you take a close look at Philippine politics you'll see that the nat. gov. asks the US before visually every decision. The Phil. president has 2 US gov. advisors. Further, the US supported e.g. Ferdinand Marcos financially & gave him shelter after the Philippine people revolted against him. Also, the USA controls the Phil. nat. resources as well as educational system. Lastly US soldiers can't be held responsible for any crime committed in the Phil. & Japan.

@Agent1W No, the USA in the Philippines until today only follow US interests. From a US perspective it's good, but this everlasting deadlock kills the Philippines. I don't blame the USA, a government should pursue its people's interests. I give an example, G. Arroyo wanted to declare martial law in the Philippines, similar to Marcos, however, like Marcos she needed permission of the US government. The Phil. presidents can't make decisions for themselves. But as I said, I don't blame the US.
