This is amazing. Not in marvelous effects or timing, but in the story, and more importantly message this conveys. I can relate to this on so many levels, loneliness, wanting to help, wanting to be a hero for my little brother and sister. I've messed up, I've hurt people and been hurt. i got bullied for almost my whole life i one day was being with the only 2 freinds who ive had for 11 years and we saw some one about to kill himself and we talked him out of it but, he was bullieing people but we did it anyway were still not freinds and hes still a bully but we saved his life

So many people I'm the US commit suicide everyday, I've walked across the Golden Gate bridge(the most jumped off bridge for suicidal purposes) and there was this horrible feeling of death and destruction. Please don't add to this mess. Many people just want to be done with life--but they don't understand that a life is a sacred and beautiful object, and so delicate. Don't be one of these sad and sick people.

A boy held the door open for me. That was it. That alone gave me the strength to go on. It doesn't take a massive amount of energy to save someone. That took pure courage to do what you did. I am 29, yes I still watch anime love it. @ooperite ...You know, something tells me people would be a bit more sympathetic to your plight if you didn't curse-and-caps so much there. I mean, heck, the number of times I got suspended in middle school because some kid punched me in the face (in front of a teacher who was severely biased to the athletes and assumed that since I was a geek, I must have asked for it) isn't even worth the time to count. But even I have a hard time thinking "poor you" with that kind of language.
