Jose Antonio Pagan, the one hitting the double that allow Willie Stargell score the winning run in the 7th game died at age 76. Que Descanse en Paz, (RIP).

I remember Nelson Briles had a comedy act in a club and when Clemente died in the plane crash while trying to aid earthquake ridden Nicaragua in the bay of san juan ,PR,Briles added the song "He aint heavy hes my brother"
Thanks for posting your family movie. I was cheering along with you. I became a Pirates fan in 1970 when I was 6 years old. It was a great 7 game series that ended with Pops Stargell (my childhood hero) scoring the winning run and Roberto being the series MVP! The 70's was a beautiful period to be a Bucs fan!
8mm memories... I was an 11-year old die-hard Clemente fan (even tried batting the way he did: never worked). What a series, never one better til MAYBE 1975 and Fisk (or did I get my years wrong?)!
