Yeah the sky looked exactly like that! It was all yellow and you could see every detail of the clouds.

The funny thing is, the weather people knew about this a week out. This storm was scary, even for Chicago. this storm actually was the closest storm to try to produce a tornado, in Chicago. This was my very first Super Cell Thunderstorm.

I have lived in Vegas the last 12 years and I miss the Chicago Thunderstorms. I know that sounds crazy, also our storms clouds don't look this cool.
