  • Its all the dish they eat

  • Congratulations to Felicity's parents. You must have invested so much time and love on her plus I think she is extremely talented. I hope you can show us a video on how she is doing now.

  • So this is how asian babies are smart...when i have my kids ima get them "my baby can read" video..Next albert einsteins i say (:

  • Wow that baby is a golddigger

  • what a cute intuitive baby God bless her

  • Sehr süß aber ich möchte nicht das Kind sein. Sie wird darauf gedrillt zu lernen. Auch wenn Sie das Interesse verliert MUSS Sie weitermachen....

Welchen druck bekommt die kleine erst in der Schule?! Oo

  • Wowww:)

  • cool

  • somebody could show her what to do!!! e.t.c. he wrote "arms up"!!! somebody could show her hoe to move her arms up this moment, but we just cant she him or her on the video!!!

  • I can read faster than that

  • NOMNOMNOM ON THAT CUTE BABY!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Well appreciate the efforts and the genious of the baby , don't act like assholes .

  • CUTE!!

  • WOW smart baby!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who is the baby looking @? Someone is filming & baby could be mimicing :0/ my baby can read commercials are more impressive!

  • @pinuphott1e how could she be mimicking if she wasn't looking at anyone between 'hair' and 'eat'?

  • This girl reminds me of my sister. She is smart as well and she was an honour roll student all through high school and musically gifted as well. She was reading books at 3 years old. This girl is probably doing extremely well in school. If a parent spends time with their kids reading to them all the time. They will pick it up. My mom did with my sister. It's not that this child is smarter. It's that her parents take the time to teach her as mine did with my sister.

  • i wonder how is this little girl doing at school now that she is abt 6 years old.

is the ability to read at 12 months old predictive of future academic success? i wonder...

  • SOOOO smart

  • simply regurgitation. you are making a smart baby, but one that cannot think for itself is not smart at all...a baby must make sense of the world and then once aquiring that knowledge, should begin to try and comprehend all that happens around them...assist in this creative beginning as you will...but feeding information into a young persons brain may make them think they know what everything is....when it may not be

  • awww how cute

  • The brains of young children aren't yet developed enough to read without it costing them in the organization of their brain. The areas involved in language and reading aren't fully connected until age 7 or 8. When teaching children to do tasks which their brains aren't yet developed to do via the normal pathways, the brain will stumble upon other, less efficient ways to accomplish the tasks & can lead to later learning disabilities, including visual-processing deficits. tinyurl . com / 2fp9ob2

  • @erthemama Your comment about brain organization for reading has no research base whatsoever. Too much TV screen time, which everyone should be against, is not the same as joyful joint media engagement between a parent and a child who are playing word games is short durations or enjoying a read aloud with soft-ware driven technology. J. Richard Gentry, Author of Raising Confident Readers: How to Teach Your Child to Read and Write—From Baby to Age 7 (Da Capo, 2010). Baby reading is great!

  • gosh abit mch DRIN841!!

    WELL DONE SHES AMAZING

  • Wow, that is amazing!!!!

  • omg!

  • great teaching ideas!

  • I am pretty sure Einstein couldn´t read at this age. So don´t worry parents whose baby can not read yet!^^

  • Wow, impressive!!! ^^

  • Wow!!! This is brilliant!! Way to go!!!

  • amazing wow

  • WOOOOOOOOW INCREDIBLE BABY

  • wow really asians getting ahead on the education system, who would of though!

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw so smart baby amazing !!!!!!!!!!!

  • cool smart baby

  • Comment removed

  • Awwww thats soo cute :)

  • She was clever, and cute!!!

  • this video inspired me to do my best with my child's education. He's now about 24 months and reading 4 letter words, mainly bodyparts, animals and tv-personalities.

It's trial and error for me but big fun for him, just 10 min. a day then he looses hisintression. Counting goes a lot easier.

    Just a minor TY

  • me too specially japan

  • my baby reads and she's 15 months old, she speaks, though, she doesn't just mimic :)

  • amazing

  • SO CUTE AND SMART!!!,,,

  • ooh i luv this babyyyyyyy..

  • thats nothing. my niece can say all of those words and more. she started reading and saying the words at 8 months. "MY BABY CAN READ" helps a lot!

  • stereotypes...asian has nothing to do with it

  • awesome, what a beautiful baby

  • but how do you do it? share the knowledge! SAve MoneY!!!

  • good job shes good

  • amazingggggggggggggggggg I LOVE THIS VIDEO as well as the 2nd 1!!! When I have a baby that's how he or she is going to be reading...Hopefully earlier :)

  • She is cute, smart and adorable! God bless you and your sweet baby!

  • Oh those freaking asians..,.. What r the americans gonna have left?

  • that could look impresive but, if all parent would put a significant effort every day into their child like this asian guy, smart babies would be a common thing.

  • @lulumother That's something harder to do than it seems. When you do things with an intention, but you don't really know if ur right in doing it, it shows. I mean, do you know ur right? Just act naturally, as things occur. Show yourself, that's what should be normal. I think... I think it's important to show kids the way the world works. Yeah.

  • @lulumother sad but true. Alot of young parents these days invest too much time in a little thing called 'facebook'

  • Let her be a baby! Sleeping, pooping, and laughing at stuff! She can do this 4 years later and it be totally ok

  • @chikarita1410 You obviously know nothing about the brain and how it works.

  • your baby is soo smart congrats all u who leave stupid ass comments are neglegent its a baby u stupid fuks do the world a favor and eat battery acid:)

  • @DRIN841 " Eat" battery acid ? I wonder if that man can teach you anything haha

  • That's amazing!

  • lما شاء الله ..

لو انها عندنا كان اللحين فاطسه ..

  • Where can I find a board like that?

  • @calma817 walmart

  • Aaaaaaw :D

  • This is cute and the fact is that you can teach any kid anything you want if you " train" them. They are like sponges at that age.

  • wowow

  • It's not that she's super smart just that some one taught her those words and actions and she pcs learnt them but by memory because babies have very good memories

  • Amazing and cuuutte!!!!

  • She needs a treat, every time she's right. No wait, she's too smart for that!

  • @mayhmong

she will be giving her dad treats in a year

  • she reminds me of the baby of monsters inc (boo) when she says bubble

  • I would debate 'open' tbh. :P

  • Damn, I'm amazed

  • awwwnnn she is just to cute!!! Btw very smart :)

  • Uhhh she's adorable!

  • She is just precious especially when she said

    bubble!

  • @st016ify read the description

  • Haha figures that they are Asian, but hats off to them, their demand for knowledge is the reason they are takin over.

  • She's so cute. Asian parents make their kids smart. They push them to much. She's gonna be super smart when she grows up

  • @sr016ify Read the video description, the parents do not believe in "forcing". Felicity became interested in reading herself.

  • @BlindLightbulb

I wonder if she will take up piano by her self too

  • Haters gonna hate. They simply don't know how to click away.

  • It's funny cuz they r asian

  • Why dont you teach her on how to do Fuck You in finger!

  • @ryuka9111 .................fuck you.

  • Crazy

  • I'm going to get to work on that asap

  • God bless you and her, you are a great teacher I wish you would have thought my teachers how to teach me :-), I will teach my baby same way because I will be a dad by march 2011

  • LOL @ Her doing "eat", then she went looking for her foot in her sock xD

  • She is soo cute!!! N i love that name.

  • @drummerdudex017

Unless you know a dog that can read human handwriting and understand what each word means then you make no sense.

  • CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

  • she is dwarf

  • @MAROCIN13 what do you mean she's a dwarf? lol that's mean!!!

  • your baby is soo cute and adorable. I agree with you. babies love to learn and it comes naturally to them. keep up the good work!

  • this baby is soooo smart

  • Not to sound jaded, but can't a damn well trained dog do this?

  • nice memory vision.

  • felicity where is ur virginia?

  • @7711731 well too bad you could look all day over that body and wouldn't find 1 sorry :0 sick burn!!! lol

  • Sad that she has to please her dad rather than be joyfully inner- directed. Babies can perform impressively. But this baby is missing out on developing vastly more valuable higher learning skills, skills that she would develop naturally, through play. Don't be fooled by these companies that want you to spend hundreds of dollars wasting your children's time memorizing like chimpanzees can do, rather than imagining, reasoning, exploring, problem solving...

  • @janetlansbury

Are you suggesting that this child does not get to develop naturally through play because her parents practice reading exercises with her? How is Felicity missing out on anything? I'm sure she leaves a very normal baby life and still plays the way any other typical child does. I don't see anything wrong with what is going on in this video. She seems genuinely interested in what her and her father are engaged in.

  • @janetlansbury How very sad that I have never had children and even I know that ANY child loves to learn wether it be thru an actual lesson like Felicity is doing with her father or on her own. Babies are curious by nature and the more thier minds are fed then happier they are. @7711731 Your just being nasty and learn to spell please...sad the babe is smarter then you...@Brillbaby She is beautiful and smart better keep an eye on her when she is older, she is gonna be a double threat :)

  • @janetlansbury to bad Americans r way behind thanks to liberals like u

  • @janetlansbury you are ignorant.

  • Way to go!!! You really found a good way to let her express her potential!! Do you do any other activities with her that focus on maybe mathematical or music skills. Just wondering because I love finding new ideas on how to stimulate my daughters mind too.

    p.s. Love the hair too.

  • glad to see I am not the only one teaching babies reading. I have a pretty good video too.

  • she is amazing

  • good job felicity. Watch me read too! : )

  • she`s so cute and super smart..

  • سبحان الله

    الله يخليها لأهلها

  • This is amazing!! I'm about to have a daughter in a couple months myself and would love some tips from you.

  • this is amazing!!

i did realize people could do this.

  • مشالله علييها

    الله يحفظها

  • ماشاء الله

  • if you publish a video tomorrow, showing her words in script or different types of handwriting, i will accept she knows how to read. right now it is just an associative process of inures, just if you show her a car or something else. Right now her learning is not about knowledge, but as training, just as you would do to a pet. Eager to see the video tomorrow and accept that i was wrong

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!! SMART BABY!! SHES SO ADORABLE!!!! i cant believe some people think that this is child abuse. gosh. they're just jealous. but yea. smart baby~!

  • WOW!!! Absolutely incredible!

  • so,she's turning 4 this year...how's she going?

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • crazy smart. i couldnt figure out half of those words. like onomatopoeia or hypothermia...ok someone tell me what im talking about plz.

  • gotta love asians!

  • NICE!! baby looks nice:)

  • NICE!!!

  • you must have spend alot of time teaching you baby.... Amazing baby you have got! :)

  • This is definitely child abuse. There is plenty of time to learn in the future so you might as well let the child enjoy his childhood years instead of immediately forcing him into education. It might amuse you that your child is learning so fast but this is wrong.

  • Aww :( The part where it says, "videos, flash card, and so on" It's good to be invested, but don't forget to let her be a kid :( At 1 year old if she doesn't want to be tested and wants to crawl around and play she should... A little baby is supposed to explore the world and taste things and touch things, not spend any time learning any complex things at all. This is better than parents who don't care about their kids, but I don't know about beneficial :(

  • OMG! I WANT THAT KID! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

  • wow so imaging baby

  • NOW HOLD ON JUST A SECOND HERE! This whole reading at 13 months really isn't that good for your child, at least in the fucked up world we live in. I have this friend who was reading young like this too. Once he got into school, he new all of this stuff, so school was utterly worthless for him. Instead of playing with friends, he would brag to parents about how smart he was. He ended up getting home schooled for one year.

  • @maskedtruther Thats so true... but what if everyone did this itd be a different world

  • @jadak41163 If everyone did this, school would probably start for kids even earlier.

  • not surprised.. asians

  • yay smart asians all the way :D she likes doing the eating lol

  • i liked the wave ending XDl :O

  • lol in a way you would think everythime your baby leans back is because it wants to do something different, in a out of the box perscpective when your baby kicks the pad away im sure its bored, to a kid it would think the more it does you eventually stop :F lol or if thats not the case atleast your baby will do good in school :O

  • I do not believe this is child abuse. I think her parents are thinking of their child to let her learn to read. Babies learn to read just as naturally as they learn to speak , and it is not child abuse to teach them to speak.

  • Mriran....u r completely wrong... The child must teach and learn when they are small they can more smart and bright...I am reallly proud this parent make them learn their this baby make so smart....i love it this vedio...

  • Mriran....u r completely wrong... The child must teach and learn when they are small they can more smart and bright...I am reallly proud this baby make so smart....i love it this vedio...

  • ur blest to have a great child and i think ur great perints!

  • I learned to read at 15 months. That was in 1994, no Youtube :(

  • HOW CUTE =^_^=

  • adorable!!

  • Very smart baby. Good job teaching her :) I like how she kept wanting to "eat" after she saw the word though LOL

  • she is so smart, and adorable too!

PLEASE CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL! SUBSCRIBE

  • every body should teach their child earlier

  • omg! how adorable!!! this is sooooo amazing!!!

  • she's soo cutee :P

  • And you would not be the first to think so! :) That babies don't like to learn and need to be forced is Myth #2. The truth is, babies love to learn, especially the younger they are. See end of the Baby Felicity Reading Compilation video and the BrillBaby site for more.

  • @brillbaby babies absorbe new information like a sponge and are curious about everything, this is one smart and adorable baby, some babies learn faster than others its all about weather they are ready developmentally and some do have genius qualities and are ready at a very early age to learn new concepts and ideas, A very ready child you have there :-)

  • Omg that is soo cute and adorable ... And a very smart baby!!

  • aaawwee! what a little cutie pie.. that is one very smart baby.. and it looks like she is really enjoying the game.. babies love when grownups interact and play with them. i bet she turns out to be one happy kid after all this bonding time with her dad

  • Babie Love learning, and they learn by "playing" to them learning to read is just like "playing to read" they do not knw they are learning...

  • what a smart and cute little baby,

anyways babies have the best learning ability within 1 year from when they are born.

  • let them play with their toys when they're smart and rich in life

  • let the baby be a baby.. play with toys and have fun. Reading should pop up in life later.... I do not have as many good memories about reading as i have about playing and messing around

  • take it easy, she dosent be punished or something like that :)

  • yeah thats right but if she really want to she would do it you know if she doesn't like it well the kid will cry you know but this is a genius kid so she know what she wanted to do...

  • totally smart

  • Look-Say as this baby demonstrates is best introduced before phonics because once phonics are introduced as strategic method for learning new words, phonics upsets belief that spellings of many new words encountered will continue to break all phonetic rules and must therefore be memorized. Better to learn spelling is arbitrary as experience with Look-Say will prove over and over than to be conned by phonics into believing there is a rational plan for spelling English words that is phonetic.

  • @LosetheStone16 ....it's way better to teach phonics as a general rule, then teach exceptions. This is more so because, even in a phonetically murky language like English, most of the words follow rules.

  • Elle est 12 mois et peut déjà lire ? Elle est très futée !

She is 12 months old and can already read? she is very smart!

  • bless her heart

  • such a cute, SMART baby! this is great parenting at work here.

  • smart baby u r lucky

  • . aw3SOm3..!! sh3 is c3rtifi3D smArt..!! y3ah..!!

  • wooow she is creative ;)

  • wow really wow, she is very good :)

  • come to think of it...learning spoken language is actually more complex than learning to recognize written words. Maybe we should all start teaching children how to read first before teaching them to speak!

    adorable kid, btw!

  • Asian, what a surprise :) That's one genious baby

  • She's smart and adorable, but not because she's asian. I have lived in asia for almost a decade, and I haven't seen more intelligence here than in the west. That is all beside the point, though. This baby is really sweet.

  • I have too (not for a decade). I have come to the same conclusion.

  • it wuz cute wen she said bubble
