What they did on Gt was combine Dragonball with Dragonball z. Like turning Goku into a kid and the crazy adventure they had in space were "Dragonball things....and when they returned to earth with Baby Vegeta it became strictly "Dragonball Z" things.

They'd cause absolute destruction training (and it doesn't make any good sense how the Lookout wasn't destroyed in this) so doing it on Earth wouldn't be a good idea. Only Old Kai and Kibito Kai live on the Supreme Kai Planet, so there wouldn't be much harm training there.

@Atstyle you bring up a good point, but uub couldn't have increased that much on earth alone. He would need the rosat or gravity training to do that; as far as I know. Goku was also fighting for majority of that year against intergalactic freaks lol. Your power scale makes since by the shows fights, but on paper that makes no sense. Even if kid goku is 1/2 or even 1/3 adult goku's strength, ss3 kid goku should still far outclass base uub. Rildo vs. base uub would be a good test for uub not baby

We don't really know who took care of the world after Goku left for good or if there ever was another threat...

Maybe Uub was the one who saved the world...he was the second strongest after SS4 Vegeta...way above Gohan,Goten and Trunks and probably even with a hipothetical Adult Gotenks.

Actually keeping in mind that Vegeta couldn't turn SS4 at will,Uub was the strongest when Goku left...if there was another threat it'd be up to Uub and Gotenks to defend the planet.
