@RadioJDchannel Petrucci was so so, but he isn't set for proper thrash kinda but like not dead on thrash to give it the proper edge which is probably why they did cemetery gates cuz they are set for prog metal. Petrucci is a gret player but Thrash/Speed metal's two best guitarist of all time are/were Dime and Mustaine Mustaine for creating it and being the continuing god of it, Dime for taking what Dave did and making an amazing unique sound/style of it as his own another god.

@RadioJDchannel Point is, they did it in a mix of their own style and only partially in Dime's rig....same thing would have happened if Dime was doing Hangar 18, its not his style he would have sucked at it...and the reason I think they chose Dave was because of his ability to switch up styles of playing in Thrash which is why he is a god but I think if they were going for Dead on Chris Broderick would have been a better choice lol.

Also take into consideration that this song really doesn't fit well to James LaBrie, it is a better fit for the Symphony X frontman. James LaBrie had throat problems on a tour of Japan a few years back when he came down with an illness that attacked his vocal chords. (or something to that effect) Wasn't the best cover for sure, agreed therre.

But Mustaine's guitar is set up for standard tuning, and tuning down a whole step with light-gauge strings causes problems with action, intonation, and string tension.
