  • .......LOL

  • I find it funny how the comments here kinda contradict the meaning of the video. (This is a good lesson ANYONE, MLP fan or not, should learn too by the way. Just because someone likes or dislikes something, doesn't mean you can't be friends with them. Just because someone likes or dislikes something, doesn't mean you have to be mean to those you disagree with.)

  • Not liking ponies = human interest. People like/dislike whatever they want, and should respected for it.

Not liking bronies = hatred. This is hating a PERSON just because they like something you don't, which is ridiculous and retarded.

  • @MultiSdgsg I like ponies, (more specifically, MLP is a decent show).

    I don't like bronies.

  • @KageTori12 My mind is all wat.

Well, that sort of makes sense, but like I said, no matter how retarded some bronies are (not all of them are) it's still hating on a person just because of their interests.

  • My Little Pony has very good animation but I find it strikingly hard to like a kids show directed at little girls not to mention its called "My Little PONY" And, I may state, I'm not using dickery, I'm using constructive critisism. Bitch.

  • This sounds wayyy too much like it belongs on adventure time.

  • THAT'S SICK ASS BEAT U GOT THERE! GREAT BASSLINE; AWESOME TRIPPLETS AT THE END.

No but seriously, I agree. People shouldn't be bitching about stuff they don't like.

If you don't like it IGNORE IT.

  • @Ozarka0

    Simply put, both.

You're really bad at trolling, btw.

The show and my reaction to it, in short.

Imo, a monstrosity at that point, seeing how it's from my point of view.

The confusion of my interest befuddled me even moreso. Only recently have I realized that I actually don't like the show, but I like the characters. This clarifies why I kept clicking random videos as long as they were about the characters, but I didn't watch or like the show itself.

  • @NexonPlayerNA hate to break it to you, but you're a in-denial closet brony =/

if you enjoy watching character videos, then you ALREADY ARE a brony. what's the big deal anyway? it IS just a show. just don't be one of the really wierd, crazy bronies, and it's all good. even I dislike the wierd bronies. be one of the sane, normal bronies =)

  • @crazitaco

GAHAHAHAHAHA! People like you don't, and NEVER WILL understand! I have thought through this conflict over and over again, finding more and more useless answers. But the one answer I've found is this: I am not a brony. Look, if you don't believe me, would there be any way for me to send you a Microsoft Word file? I wrote a memoir on the whole thing that clarifies everything. Telling me to be sane? Not crazy?! TOO FUCKING LATE FOR THAT! In-denial closet blah. HAH! You don't understand.

  • MLP is still stupid.

  • @VainAttempts it's ok

  • @VainAttempts Watch up to episode five before making a judgement.

  • @VainAttempts Your name suits your response.

  • @MerenethDraconia Dumb brony. Offended you get when people insult My Little Pony, but liking thee shall make you an unintelligent moron.

  • Because the ponyfans don't warrant any of the hate at all.

  • I love how it's gone from "It's okay to like ponies" to "It's okay to NOT like ponies".

    Internet, I am proud.

  • @sttate Like its an accepted fact that ponies are liked, but disliking them isn't necessarily bad xD

  • ummmmmmmmmmmm..........bravo? kool? ok.....

  • It's not okay to like ponies.

  • All anti bronies just stfu! it is a kid's show this was men't to be a kid's show, if you don't like mlp fim then we all are gonna love and tolerate

  • @TheUnknownD >stfu aka "shut the fuck up"

    >loving and tolerating

I'm a brony too, but there's a pretty big flaw in your argument.

  • @pockuinator Like what?

  • @TheUnknownD Loving and tolerating generally does not include "anti bronies shut the fuck up." But hey, that's my opinion, and who am I to tell you how to tolerate? You aren't hurting anyone, so I'll just leave you alone. G'bye.

  • @pockuinator uh..ok

  • so true

  • Awesome.

  • its ok to not like ponies, but hating is a different story

  • @starfox9871 Hate is simply a stringer form of the word dislike, or the term "to not like".

Even if you do hate it, that doesn't warrant being a dick about it. I can say the same for a lot of bronies. Most of us are kind, but the anti-bronies seem to have unfortunate luck in coming across the mean ones :/

  • This is a perfect message to all the parasprites >8)

  • Haha!

@ititzizit, or whatever your name is since I'm on my phone right now,

    YOU ARE GETTING TOO ANGRY.

All he did was say something random. Just deal with it.

  • You mean shitty animating and voice feadback

  • I"M GUNNA LOVE AND TOLERATE THE SHIT OUTTA Y'ALL!

  • Yes! Finally! Somebody has said, very frankly, what we have been trying to explain for about a year at this point!

  • i like this video. and i dislike it, but im not guna be a dick about it.

  • @ericmorse123

Dude... I'm not sure if you're trolling or just really, really stupid...

And don't get the "Love & Tolerance" Rule now...

I'm not even talking about MLP now...

  • @iTzKid69 lulz. idk im im trolling ether. wasnt tryin too. was just makin one of thoes posable top comment things. apparently its a no go

  • It's okay to not like ponies! All I'll do I throw you into the sun or cause endless years of suffering upon your soul because of your lack of allegiance to Fluttershy :D

  • To bad the dicks never listen.

  • CURSE YOU MY LITTLE PONY!

WHY DO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!?!??!

  • Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Stop arguing. It contradicts the point of the video.

  • VIRGIN FOREVER HOOF YEAH /) (\ BRB POPPING ALL MY BRONY PIMPLES

  • @N0WAR1337 STOP TROLLING YOU IMPOSTOR!!!

Okay, rant over. But didn't you learn anything from this video? (i.e. the "don't be a dick about it" line)

  • @Necronator1 It's ok to be a virgin, it's ok, but don't be a brony. It's ok to, to be a virgin... but don't be a pedo like the bronies all are

  • @N0WAR1337 So now you're assuming that all Bronies are pedophiles. I don't understand how liking a kids show is connected to pedophilia?

  • @Necronator1 lol, you're blind then

  • Comment removed

  • @N0WAR1337 So you assume all bronies are pedo because its a children's show? What a stupid and close-minded concept. 0_o

I like Powerpuff girls, does that make me a pedo? Transformers are inteded for young boys but I like the cartoons, am I a pedo? Every single show on Nick and CN are inteded for the 8-14 demographic, does that make me a pedo because I'm 17? Your argument is prejudice and full of holes. If you don't like the show that's fine, just ignore it. I'll be glad to ignore you.

  • @Zantillia Shut up pedo

  • @N0WAR1337 Ow my feelings. We're done here.

  • @Zantillia Good, go away you whining panzy

  • @N0WAR1337 lolwut? Can you even be considered a pedophile at age 17?

  • @Pyro25100 Imagine this: a 17-year-old attracted to a 6-year-old. What'd you consider the 17-year-old to be?

  • @Chibithor Well, if you put it that way, then yes, it's very wrong. However, not all of us "clop" as it's called, to ponies. I dislike that side of the fanbase, I really do.

  • @Pyro25100 Moreover, ponies are not humans, so attraction to them isn't pedophilia but something else entirely.

  • @Chibithor Hm, I just thought it was considered to be a part of the furries. You know :P

  • @Pyro25100 With furries, as I understand it, it's usually a matter of physical attraction. I doubt that is equally true with the ponies, and that it's actually about their minds/mental characteristics. (But then again, when ponies in underwear and bikinis pop up, you can't be so sure.)

  • @TheJediMB Well...I suppose they'll do what they do :/

I don't like that part of the fan-base, but I'm not gonna put em down for it. After all, they are still bronies, and I assume they take part in other brony activities aside from THAT. For the most part, a lot of bronies are talented. Whoops, tangent, my bad. Yeah, it's okay to not like them for it, but well....the video says it all lol

  • @N0WAR1337 man, you dont have a single braincell, do you?

  • @yoga680 I wouldn't type these if I didn't

  • my little faggy

  • @BadPojo Someone didn't learn anything from this video.

  • @Tenaomeana I've learned MLP fans have the self entitlement of furries :3

  • @TheDoomBrony Very true... And sad at the same time

  • TL;DR:

Bronies are the new fags who think they have to shove their shit down other people's throat.

  • @trondozy U mad.

  • @trondozy

    It's called the vocal minority.

  • SO MANY PARAGRAPHS!

  • "Everybody should deal with the MLP fad porn and shit being spammed on every forum and not be a dick about it because I'll cry and spam "umad, asshole, butthurt, deal with it, etc." LOL Manchildren, grow up. It's a little girls cartoon. When your fandom is full of fat, autistic, neckbeard men and hipster teenage girls how can you expect NOT to be trolled. X)

  • @Ananimass everybody gets trolled, and most of us bronies are bronies to troll you guys haha

bronies are here to stay, just get used to it

  • @yoga680 Um, no you're just gonna die out. This happens to every fad. You're not some big trollercoaster. You think you're cool but in reality you're just a bunch of neckbeard meme spamming manchildren on the Internet. ~Toodles, faglet rofl.

  • @Ananimass My God the generlization is thick here isn't it? I'm a girl and a brony. I'm hardly a "neckbeard manchild" as you so intelligently put it. Not all bronies care if you don't like our show, nor do we all spam memes to people. I don't think I'm "cool" because I like a tv show, nor do most of us. The loudest and most annoying members of a group are the ones who get noticed, surely you realize this?

  • @Zantillia Absolutely.

  • @yoga680 Don't say that, it just gives them more ammo. Ignore these idiots who, for some reason, can't understand the simple fact people like a cartoon. Calling yourself a troll doesn't help. =/

  • @Zantillia people will always hate on people for no reason, it dont think it would really matter if we give them more ammo or not.

and a /)*(\ for MLP? haha

  • @yoga680 /)(\ brohoof!

    And you're right obviously, its just, saying most bronies are bronies to troll is just a little counter productive. ^^;

  • @Zantillia you are right, I forgot the law of MLP.

    love and tolerate haha

  • Ponification of tb:s song, its ok to not like things, but dont be a dick about it =)

  • I would say inb4 people being a dick about things they don't like, but I came too late

  • If you like the show, have fun watching it. Don't be a dick about it. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. Don't be a dick about it. :-)

  • @FHomeBrew THIS.

  • also it's okay to like ponies, but please don't shove it down people's throats when it's not necessary. I mean cmon now do you honestly think posting a picture of spike is going to help build your argument?

  • @Garydos07 This.

Bronies, look at it this way. You know the "Arrow to the Knee" Meme from Skyrim? Imagine every MLP picture posted, the phrase "Everypony" and whatnot, every picture of an extreme colored pony, and change that allllllllll to the "Arrow to the Knee" Meme. That's why we don't like it. It's everywhere, all the time, and we're just getting tired of it. I gave the show a chance, and I really wanted to like it so the craze wouldn't bother me, but I didn't like it.

  • @YawnChamp You mean bronies should put less ponies in their MLP pictures ?

You know MLP stands for My little pony, do you ?

Of course, if you just want less MLP pictures or MLP videos, it's easy : when you see MLP in the title, don't click on the link.

For example I dislike football. And yet, football doesn't disturb me, because I don't read football-related items. It's quite easy.

  • @Garydos07 Don't be silly, this is the Internet. Posting completely unrelated media to support your argument is the way things are done.

  • @Garydos07 I completely agree.

  • @Garydos07 I am a brony and I agree with this statement.

  • @Garydos07 i'm a brony and i admit, spammers are bad no matter what the topic.

  • The one and only reason people like MLP, because they can, and there isnt a god damn thing you can do to change that.

  • @arvald duh?

  • ITS NOT OKAY TO NOT LIKE PONY

  • Everyone who's comments are under mine are retarded

  • Comment removed

  • @alferxxx

    Retard alert.

  • Hmm... Not to be a dick, but here are my views: I am taking no official stand of liking the show or not; I fear for my e-mail account. Second of all, both bronies AND anti-bronies are at fault. Anti-bronies (the self-proclaimed ones) are mostly "dicks about what they don't like". HOWEVER, being a self-proclaimed brony means almost being a self-proclaimed dick. Some people like the show, and I respect that, but MANY bronies say they are so just so they can troll people (successfully). Correct?

  • @NexonPlayerNA Kind of but not really. You're for the most part spot on about the anti-Bronies. But the "troll Bronies" are a very small percentage of the fanbase. If you look at MLP fan sites or just talk to a Brony you may know, you can tell that most Bronies legitimately love the show & the Brony community in a very kind & loving way, with all intentions being good. Unfortunately the stupid Bronies are also the most vocal, so I understand how you'd get that impression.

  • @maalbe987

I don't care anymore. This whole brony thing is a cycle of hate. I am included. I don't hate the show, or videos about it, etc. However, I hate the porn fanart people make. That expands to me hating videos about MLP in general, and hating whenever these videos pop up outta no where. That expands. I hate the show. I hate everything about it. What is a man but the sum of his worst deeds? A lot, apparently, but not on the internet, and not on a television show.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Most Bronies hate pony porn too. Every fandom has its freaks. You're free to not like the show, but just know that most Bronies hate the porn fanart.

  • @maalbe987

GAHAHAHA! I'm ignorant and full of myself to an extreme, but I'm not an idiot! Do you think I'm not aware of that? Every single video I go on, people constantly have to point that out, while I'm already aware! Did you even UNDERSTAND my comment? Did you? I said the root of my problem with the show is the porn fan art; I said NOTHING of the SORT alluding to it being enjoyed by the MAJORITY.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Okay, okay. Sorry for misunderstanding your point. But honestly, if a couple R34 drawings make you rage this much, then the internet's not exactly gonna be your paradise. Try just doing what I do: if you see it on your screen, then scroll down as quickly as possible &/or go to something else that'll erase that drawing out of your mind.

  • @maalbe987

Honestly, it's not a couple. I've tried your plan. Several times. It doesn't help that I have an extremely vivid, detailed imagination and photographic memory. You see, I'm used to my mind reaching out and creating any possible image it can, just to exhaust the possibilities. However, this backfires concerning horror movies, and shit like this. If I wanted to, I could accurately envision Rarity getting fucked by Prince Blueblood, but obviously I won't for my own sanity.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Dude, what the hell is with the megahate? You sound like some kind of stoned goth kid, except it applies to mlp.

  • @Ozarka0

WOW! That summarizes me COMPLETELY! My mind is full of so much fuck that I AM like some stoned goth kid, stoical to the emotions conveyed to the show due to all the SHIT that I've seen on the internet about this FUCKING show! You know what? I don't care anymore! Everyone, assume what you will about me. I'm done with all this hate. My REAL problem, at the very heart and core of it, is that I DO NOT understand why people actually LIKE the show. I've watched it and felt, something

  • @NexonPlayerNA *sits back and enjoys da lulz*

You're a lonely little boy, aren't you? Stop reacting so strongly to someponies who like this show. Just because you don't understand doesn't mean you have to freak out.

Oh, and I trolled you just to be a dick. Not because you don't like ponies.

  • @Ozarka0

    *Sitting back on chair*

*Sits up with both hands clutching armrests*

Let's just say, that that is where we differ. I am this bundled up psychotic rainbow of emotions, regardless of whether you troll me or not. This merely supplied me an outlet. What you don't understand is that I actually take this seriously: the whole conflict. I am an over-analyzing perfectionist, and I do not like not knowing something widely known.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Huh? Well hell, what you need is a little loosenin' up is all. And if you're at all interested in the show and haven't seen it, which I'm not implying either, then just go and watch a few episodes. You should understand by them why we bronies love it so much.

  • @Ozarka0

Well, I've said this before and I'll say it again. I've watched a few episodes, starting from season 1 ep 1. I watched until ep 6, got bored by 7. I heard season 2 was better, so I watched an ep from season 2. Got bored by the second ep. In summary, I'm honestly disappointed. I love the characters; great personalities and adorable. However, the stories of each episode leave a lot to be desired. It's also hard to include every main character sufficiently in an episode with so many.

  • @NexonPlayerNA ...And your entire freakout is about that? Dude, get a life.

  • @Ozarka0

You have no idea what I've gone through mentally to conclude it at just that. I've found the easiest way out. Do you need me to send you my memoir, which is 2300 words, that I wrote in an hour about it? Putting sarcasm aside, it would actually help you understand why I made such a big deal about it. The memoir doesn't even cover all of it anymore. The conflict lasted for months, constantly battling in my mind. I take stupid things very seriously. I need a better life.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Yeah, you really do need a better life. I had rad a funny comic about a girl who went to similar lengths to understand why she liked it, but I never thought anybody would actually do that. Your only problem is not growing up, it's loosening up.

    You. Need. To. Relax.

  • @Ozarka0

I'm a very passionate guy. It's impossible for me to relax. "I've found the easiest way out," as in, I TRIED just letting it go. My mind wouldn't let me. I'm a passionate, over-analytical perfectionist. Letting something like this just slip by is impossible by nature, especially due to how unprecedented it is. What kind of a show makes 13-30 yr-old men fall in love with a 5-10 yr old girls' tv show? Of course I had to get into it; my problem was getting OUT.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Why did you WANT to get out? You sound almost as if you liked it but chose to hate it just because it's about ponies.

  • @Ozarka0

It's partly about that. You see, I was open-minded at first. I decided to watch the first episode of my own free will. However, I felt... odd, while watching that episode on that fated day. I didn't like the whole situation. I promised myself then and there: "You will never become a brony." Since then, I've kept that promise, even to the point of enforcing lies upon my ever-more unstable mind. That was months ago. I just want to remain who I was before I stumbled upon this monstrosity.

  • @NexonPlayerNA And what exactly is the monstrosity you're talking about? The show and its ponies? Or the fact that you're borderline psychotic?

  • @Ozarka0

What SCARES me is that I could see myself like that. I felt I could either be a spear-head for bronies or reject them fully. I chose the latter. Even though I've only seen around 7 episodes, each only once, due to all the clips I've seen from online and my nearly photographic memory, I can make extremely obscure accurate references that most people wouldn't even recognize. My grumpy friend always wears green, so just yesterday I felt the need to say, "Green is such an AWWFUL color!"

  • @NexonPlayerNA The ones that say that they are bronies to troll are anti-bronies. And being a self-proclaimed brony is nowhere near bein a self-proclaimed dick. Being a self-proclaimed dick is being a self-proclaimed dick.

  • continued: disagree with. So I challenge you sir. Next time state your opinion and not hate. And I promise you most of us bronies will listen.

  • @astomancer01 learn the difference between hate and ridicule, kid.

  • @StoryOfAPanic actually sir I believe your the one who needs to grow up. We all should not be judged by our entertainment, likes, or ways. The best way to show maturity is acceptance and understanding. To always try and be rational in disagreements. I may only be 15, but I believe that hating is wrong. There is and will always be a difference between opinion and hate. Opinion your just stating your disagreement to something. But hating is intentionally insulting and aiming for the person you di

  • Ha this kid does not suit swearing.

  • I'm gonna fuck your disgusting sweaty brony faces until you bleed to death.

  • @KevlarMoses Wow, sick as hell, much?

  • I don't have it, but I'm slightly getting annoyed of seeing this stuff everywhere I browse. It's getting annoying.

Sadly eventually, I will hate it.

  • @TheOfficialKyloth

Finally, someone who shares my views. For a second, I thought *I* made this comment. I almost became a brony myself, but I eventually hated the community through: pony videos spamming my Relateds' when I watch video-game related videos, and especially the sexual ones. Who comes up with that? Fucking sickos.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Most "sexual" MLP stuff is meant as a joke, and the ones who take it seriously & are legitimately turned on by it (a small portion of the fanbase) are looked down on my most Bronies.

  • @maalbe987

A joke? It's a fucking nasty joke. Those images are fucked up burnt into my mind. I can hardly forget anything. The ones who take it seriously? I take it seriously. Stuff like this pervades most fandoms, but this for MLP, is just, cruel, corrupting, and horrifyingly widespread for such a "small portion of the fanbase".

  • @NexonPlayerNA If you're referring to the actual porn drawings & stuff like that, then I fully understand where you're coming from. As a Brony myself, I cringe at the sight of those too. But if you're referring to, for example, a sex-related joke on a MLP-related video, then that's not meant to be taken seriously.

  • @maalbe987

Look, I'm emotionally unstable, but I'm not stupid. I am aware that most bronies hate the fan art. HOWEVER, you do not understand what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to say that EVERY fandom has its fucked up fan art, but in MLP case, I find it particularly disgusting to corrupt such a show, and even more so when I see how WIDESPREAD it is all over YouTube! I don't want to see pony porn when I watch: SpongeBob, Amnesia TDD, TF2, The Witcher 2, etc. It's EVERYWHERE.

  • @NexonPlayerNA Now THAT I can understand. Rule 34 really is the mentally retarded stepchild of the internet. I really wish all the pony porn could go away so a lot of the stereotypes could stop. Oh, and because it's freakin' disgusting. But unfortunately that's not gonna happen any time soon, so I've just learned to deal with it.

  • @NexonPlayerNA You like pissing people off, don't you? You like it when we get mad and try to talk to you to make you understand. You like to laugh at us as we try and get you to get it that we aren't the jackasses that you make us out to be.

You sill troll. Ponies are for real men. Try again at life. We'll wait when you catch up from the stone ages.

  • There it is.

  • It's not ok to force shit down peoples throats

It's not ok to force shit down peoples throats

It's not ok to force shit down peoples throats

It's not ok to force shit down peoples throats

It's not ok to force shit down peoples throats

It's not ok to force shit down peoples throats

  • @ManlytearsUK Sounds legit.

  • I love how I got here from a completely random 'The Amazing World Of Gumball' video.

  • *compelling argument about why the show is good*

  • @PandaKewn *ignorant reply as to why I need to shove a cactus up my ass for having opinions*

  • @PandaKewn In case you were wondering, the argument is not about whether the show is good or not. It seems that it is about the significance of other people's opinions of you for watching the show.

  • I got a huge pwner watching this!

  • CAUTION!! CAUTION!!

A HUGE WALL OF TEXT "POINTLESS ARGUMENT" IS APPROACHING FAST

    NO REFUGE

  • @KlLLAH573 Sorry about that.

  • @KlLLAH573 YOU ARE A PROPHET! quick! what'll happen in 2012?

  • Comment removed

  • STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE

  • Haters gonna hate, ponies gonna pwn <3

  • It's not ok for adults to be obsessed with a show for children. It's the same as if you whipped out some GI Joes in public and made a little battle scene on your table. I am not saying that you have to conform to every societal convention but if you are completely disconcerted with how you appear to others then you are in poor mental health. Being one to reject all input from the community is akin to a kid putting his fingers in his ears and screaming to drown it out. See a doctor.

  • @StoryOfAPanic Haters gonna hate, so Love and Tolerate.

  • @StoryOfAPanic hey... hey bro. u mad?

  • @StoryOfAPanic "-completely disconcerted with how you appear to others then you are in poor mental health."

WTF man. I don't give a crap how I appear to others 'cause I have enough sense to know their opinions don't matter when it comes to how I look/act and what I like as long as I'm not doing anything wrong. This comment is invalid, please try again.

  • @Cloverkitty How you appear and present yourself to your pack is a normal thing to be concerned about for well adjusted human beings.

  • @StoryOfAPanic I would say that human being do that normally not only well adjusted human beings do that I WISH I didnt have to be concerned about stuff like that :(

  • @StoryOfAPanic What century do you live in? Honestly? I can understand being presentable in the general public, but no self-confident person (Unless over grooming makes them feel confident.) is going to primp and preen themselves for every little stop at the local grocer.

  • @Cloverkitty I don't see how this relates to anything I said.

  • @StoryOfAPanic Of course not, brick wall. Of course not. :3

  • @Cloverkitty well enlighten me then. what did I say that suggested people have to dress fancy when they go to the grocer?

  • @StoryOfAPanic Not dress fancy. "primp and preen" is used as a metaphor meaning to change/hide everything about ourselves so that we can be acceptable to the people we hang with, or to the public in general. You sad, sad troll.

  • @StoryOfAPanic No, it's something normal to be concerned about for conformists. We bronies are revolutionaries. We are transcending stereotypes that people like you like to post.

Oh, and before you ask me if I'm mad, no I'm not. I like talking with people like you. You know, trolls?

  • @StoryOfAPanic If somebody's judgment of me as a person is based entirely on my opinion of a TV show, I'd say they're the ones who are "disconcerted." Preferences in entertainment are among the worst possible gauges of character, and while I'm aware of what it looks like to other people, I'm entirely willing to have a calm, rational discussion about it.

I understand the show isn't for everyone, and I think we all have a right to watch or ignore it as we see fit. [/my angle]

  • @twilitbeing When did obsessing over infantile entertainment as an adult become accepted, even trendy? Having a fetish for googly-eyed cartoon ponies is just as worrying as playing with Nerf guns in a board room, if not even more so. There's a time and place for idolizing animated characters, for cheap thrills and shallow amusement, for escaping into a fantasy world filled with rainbows and candyfloss, but for you bronies that was pobably ten years and twenty pounds ago.

  • @StoryOfAPanic "You're dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway." -Walt Disney.

  • @StoryOfAPanic While I can agree with the point that some people take their obsessions a little too far, I also can't help but feel that you have a bit of a superirority complex in the way you are approaching this. So some people enjoy cartoons more than other T.V. programs. So what? Not all of these "bronies" are the brainwashed idiots you so pretentiously make them out to be. (Though there are a fair amount.)

  • @Cloverkitty "superirority complex" Just because someone calls a childish thing childish doesn't mean they have something to prove. They're merely pointing out that it's childish.

"So what?" I already told you. It makes you look really, really immature and silly and people will continue to make fun of you. Don't expect the world to coddle you if you so blatantly refuse to internalize the criticism others raise against you.

  • @StoryOfAPanic There's a difference between criticism and outright, unfounded insults. Sad, sad troll.

  • @StoryOfAPanic "Infantile" and "shallow amusement" aren't descriptions I would use, which is precisely what sets FiM apart. You're probably sick of this question by now, but humor me: How much of the series have you actually watched?

Also, if we're going to make analogies, let's be accurate, yes? If the cartoon is like a Nerf gun, how exactly do you equate YouTube with a "board room"?

    (P.S.: Me - (10yr + 20lbs) = 8 years old and 90 pounds. In case you were curious.)

  • @twilitbeing I wasn't comparing the cartoon to a Nerf Gun or YouTube to a board room. I was trying to convey to you what kind of impression you make on other people. Even if your friends and family members tell you that it's no big deal you can bet that you're causing a lot of vicarious embarrassment. If you want to dig your heels in and block out anything that endangers your childish hobby, fine. This, however, will not earn you a lot of respect and you need to accept that.
