Quebec has one of the worst economies out of all the provinces..in fact the real economic backbones of Canada (Ontari, British Columbia and Alberta) get taxed higher to compensate for Quebecs weak economy and inability to collect taxes for itself. The idea of Quebec seperatism includes keeping the Canadian currency, since its own wouldnt be worth anything and would be nothing on the world market.
@mononcleroger In fact Quebec wants to keep the same currency, share a joint military with Canada, share federal tax deals and open border policies and all the while be recognized as a country. Yeah what an 'independent' country Quebec would be. The fact is that Quebec knows that they wouldnt last as a true independent country. Quebec is just a leach, they leached onto France, then Britain, then now English Canada. There is no revolution unless you call waving some flags around a revolution haha
