@ogenesis The number one problem by far that the US has to deal with is the deficit. It affects the economy, everybody's standard of living etc. Obama has outspent all other presidents in history, including G.W. Bush, by expanding government at an unprecedented rate. Only people who expect handouts from the government have an incentive to vote for him again. Given the lack of a third party candidate, a Republican is the only alternative. Hopefully they'll do a better job this time.

@jonesr227 Atleast Obama's spending makes some sense. He isn't giving tax cuts during times of war. The only way I can explain the debt issue is like this. Lets say Bush has to sell a house, he sells it to Obama. Obama gets to the home and it is completely destroyed . He obviously can't live in a destroyed house, he has to spend money to fix it. Once he fixes it up, he can then now live and work as normal and pay off the debt he had to spend.
