The group has got to be the all time best band that many people are unaware of. I'm 61 and just discovered Kid Creole about a month ago. The talent and variety of music is superb. The Coconuts are very, very unique; I mean, what other music groups have dancers as backups? And they intersperse their dancing with wonderful low key harmonizing and complimentary background voices. Just a visual and listening delight. Thank you Kid and Mundi.

i 1st saw this back in the 80s? on a show called the tube it was on every friday evening.

this is by far the best song on the planet, i never get bored with this song.

the cd version is slightly differant.

A classic that will live with me for ever.

This one evokes brilliant memories of parties in Saudi Arabia - I always loved the chicks Puerto Rican accent on the original and thought that whilst I didn't have any fish for her, there was surely something else I could give her that would take her mind off the fish.....remember I was just a kid.....still am.
