  • 另外一個很好的苗族歌唱家。她來自雲南。

  • nice song though also, love Li Vang hmong clothes too

    its very Beautiful =]

  • At 1:14, those walls are actually really stinky...lol... looks beautiful though....hahahah...

  • Hey I just came back from China, and climbed to the top of this temple. Saw everything from this mountain. It is a very beautiful area to look down onto the city. Glad we climbed it. Most famous place for our Hmong people, ...the place where all YOUR Hmong Chinese costumes are bought from. Didn't know that did you?

"Roob Kuj" the Chinese pronunciation of "China" in Mandarin.

  • OMG!!

    I LOVE IT

  • zaj nkauj no hu tau ua kuv lub siab tig rov puag tom qub qab tias peb haiv tibneeg hmoob los qhov twg los. nws yog ib qho past rau peb sawvdaws tau xav haistias txawm tias peb cov lus tsis sis thooj los peb tseem yog ib haivneeg hmoob.

  • it has been 14 years since I last seen her. Hope she still as good looking. Times flied by so quick. 14 years just like 14 months. Well, not really true. I already have 6 lovely children anyway.

  • Let me make it clearer - tus ntaiv nov pib puag nram ntug dej mus txog rau kiag ntawm lub tsev siab siab no muaj pes tsawg theem?

  • Tus ntaiv nov nej twv muaj pes tsawg qib?

  • Love the voice and music, hais tau kho siab kawg. Wish to see tsoob kuj one day. Where can I order her dvd??

  • Or maybe the Hmong song writers can not make any songs not about love. You have to accept the fact that "LOVE" has been a part of Hmong culture for a long time. Maybe Hmong songs were not meant for anything besides "LOVE"?

  • I have to agree with you ramen09. Most Hmong songs are about "LOVE". If the majority of Hmong songs are not about "LOVE", then the Hmong songs would have been awesome. Are you sick of hearing Hmong songs about "LOVE"? I am. When will Hmong people learn? I am so tired of listening to Hmong songs about "LOVE". I prefer that Hmong songs be about places, people, objects, or just anything new not about "LOVE". But the problem is that Hmong song writers are too lazy to make songs not about "LOVE".

  • i liek this :)

  • a song not about love... when will hmong singers these days sing song w/o love in it....getting too boring these days...

  • is she saying that she is from "gold mountain"? just look at the lyrics? I think that the title of this song is wrong...dont you think so?

  • No, "tsoob kuj" is another name for China. I think it's actually Mandarin (zhong guo).

Gold mountain would be "roob kub."

This song reminds us to remember where we are from and who we are.

  • no she a new girl..

  • this is a good dong for every one...

  • please upload more of somg. Thank you.

  • i thought Mee Hang sang this song

  • The original singer of this song is Hai Zu, a chinese singer. The original title is "My home is China".

  • I was kind of suspicious of that. A friend and I joked once that all good songs are probably originally Chinese.

I'll have to look this up. Thanks.

  • ...wow this song is really uplifting and i am proud to be a Hmong...

  • wang li i have all her cd's and it was great...she's a great singer ...thank you up load .....Ua tsaug

  • wow..it's nice !

  • So is "Roob Kuj", the Hmong-Chinese term or is she actually saying "Zhong Guo"? I've heard the original by Zu Hai called "My home is China".

  • roob kuj is how you spell it in hmong i guess lol. but she is saying zhong guo witch is the spelling in mandarin pinyin of course.

  • I just posted my comment and didn't see that you posted the same thing.

  • You did and you never told me?

  • is it true that Mee Hang's sister is Pa Houa Ham that sings the song: LeejNuj toj siab?

  • hahaha, lol, Mee Hang and paj huab ham is just the same last name only, they r not sister

  • oh i remember this song...i like this song

  • i can sang like her but i can hit higher notes then her.

  • awesome song man! thnx for the uploads! its great to see other hmong people from around the world

  • I can understand all of her words, what part of china is she from? I was comparing Mee Hang and Li Vang. Anyway, this song is great.

  • hahaha koj nug kuv qha koj kuv nyob tsoobkubtw nyob los tsuas

  • koj noos kuv nyoj qhov tws kuv nyoj mekas hahahahahaha

  • her name is Li Vang and her cd albums have her name listed as Li Vang she has 3 cds out here in the US and she is from China. I have the 3rd cd called Ke Hlub Muaj Nqis Tshaj Nyiaj vol 3

  • Li Vang's second album is called Yuav Tos

    Txog Hnub Twg

  • the title says KUV NYOB ROOB KUJ but they blocked it....

  • Why is that?

  • they blocked it with the Hmoob Leeg Title: Tsev Nyob Tsoob Kuj...

  • love this song

    its great

  • So in China, Vangs really use the surname 王? Is it just a simple translation or is the Vaj surname connected with 王?

  • I think we just use the same surnames as 王 and 李 and 杨 and so on.

  • Wait OMG i'm so confused!!!!

We bought some music videos of her and

it says that her name is Li Vang!! So

what is her real name then? Or does she

    just have two names??

  • Her name is 王丽.In China we put first name last and last name first. Her last name is 王(Wang/Vang).It's OK to translate her name as Wang Li or Li Vang. They are just the same name.

  • Thank you! Now i understand i little.

Yeah her songs are great but the dancing wid

the girls are horrible in the music video we got. Not trying to be mean! But yeah i love her voice!

  • Oye.. what's the name that they use for her on Youtube, so I can link this video to those other ones.. anyone know?

  • There were some MVs of hers, use her name as "li vaj".But they all disappeared!I want to see them again very much. She sings very well.

  • now this is hmong white because u can hear from the words and if she is hmong green she will say "zoo sab" instead "zoo siab" so yeah. and some other words too. and also the spelling too hehelol

  • Great! she's Hmong.

  • I am a big fan of Wang Li, but the videos aren't so good. The person who shot the video don't seem to be knowing what he or she's doing. Some of those background scenes are very beautiful, but they don't know how to show it. Also, if they don't like to use a tripod, then use a steadicam or something like that, it will make the video much more smoothly.

  • wow..it's nice

  • I never get tired of listening to this song

  • puas tau muaj txiv os leej muam awd!!!!!!!!

  • OOo wow nice song. I liker it. =)

  • ilike it.its soo unique.:].and is very relaxing also

  • true

  • i think im gonna visit Guizhou, China one day since we were officially from China til our Ancestors took off to Vietnam, Laos/Thailand coz the Hmong Leader was assassin during the war against the Chinese..

  • I believe this area is in Yunnan, China? You can go to Guizhou if you want, but you better learn Mandarin because you will have a hard time communicating with the Hmong folks from Guizhou with the Hmong-American Dialect we use.

  • this is in Wenshan, yunnan, china.

  • Very true to our people. GREAT MV!

  • WOW..i'm proud to be hmong! love this song!

  • I love the song. I am Glad I'm hmoob and would want to be aways.

  • wow i really want a hmoob suav headress...i heard this song before..its nice...

    roob kuj=zhongguo...china...

  • God I lover her singing. If you listen carefully you can hear her say "Joe, koj nyob qhov tws? come and marry me".

  • hey joe you realy into it hahaha

  • hahahaha that was great

  • wow wow all i can say is wow...that's real singing!!!

  • I understand her perfectly. Cool.

  • Dude, I can really understand her clearly.

  • so any idea who sang this? man her song is dman good!!!

  • Her name is Wang Li.. But the thing is I'm not sure which one is her first name... If it going how the chinese usually go then her first name would be Li and her last name would be Wang(Vang). Or it could be the other way around.

  • Interesting. Post more of her and other videos you got.

  • you are right, her name is Li Vang. i bought one of her album from a Hmong store in North Minneapolis, she's pretty good...^_^ it's too bad i couldn't find the album with this song in there...

  • on her other video, it has her hmong name on it and its Lig Vaj.

  • @threeheadedzen

She is seem Vaj. her Hmong name is Maiv Suav Vaj. I was lucky enough to have met her in person. But she was young at that time. She was kind of small, short, round race, and ntxas ib tug kaus hniav. And I have a video of her vocal singing too...

  • hahah..lol...haha...its me who got her pregnant. I was gonna get her here this year. LOL...not exactly, I was just joking around. I never been there before.

But its hala funny though, what you mentioned.

  • I heard a rumor she got pregnant by a Hmong US from Ca. Can any one confirm that? I hope not but what is the deal?

  • Wang Li is a very strong Hmong girl. She went to join the noj 30 in Laos 2006-07. I personally talked to her on the phone and she was sort of empty minded. Cause there were not many compatible young Hmong men in her state. It would be nice if someone can take her to the US.

  • gosh i'm really digging this song..

  • this is soooo coolll...i didn't know hmong chinese are this nice...good to be hmong

  • hey the banjo was made by africans. The whites took it.

  • Love your video, please shared more, I am more proud of our people in china...They don't copy music...like the hmong in the U.S.,Laos and Thai. They do all the time.

  • I agree. They don't copy music. But at the same time, we also have to be proud to those who doesn't copy music, such as Sounders, Paradise, WhyteShadow and etc. But these day everyone seem to be copying.. I do hope we can compose more music and be unique.

  • yeenavy, Hmong China do copy music. I've heard remake of Teresa Teng's songs before.

Roob Kuj = Golden Mountain.... ^^ whoooo.. very very

    patriotic.. i agreed!!

  • from what i hear she is saying "Zhong Guo" but I think the hmong people just changed the term to "Roob Kuj"....any how, Wang Li is a wonderful singer.

I would like it Hmong people sang more patriotic songs rather than all those

Kuv hlub koj, koj hlub kuv songs.

  • Totally agree! That's the reason why I haven't bought any hmong songs in the past 10 years.
