Reminiscent of Bach and his 'popularizer', Mendelssohn, but with a contemporary flavor that is very much a part of your works--speaking of 'works' (plural), am I to assume there are twenty-three other Inventions, if I want the whole set? --a 'must have' mp3 folder, I should think....

First off, this is very beautiful. I know very little about music notation. Nevertheless, I find watching the treble cleft and the bass cleft passing before my eyes very educational and instructive. Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no time in this entire piece when an actual chord is employed? Or is it that I do not have a proper understanding as to what a chord is? Didn't Mozart write pieces without chords sometimes? I hope this is not a dumb question. *****
