Fuck Europe and fuck the assholes who corrupted this show. The original purpose of Eurovision was to enhance diplomatic relations throughout Europe through the use of actual songs. As it stands it's just a bunch of highly sexualized bubblegum pop songs being sung out by untalented individuals.

@7alton8 Because that's what all Eurovision songs are, bubblegum pop. A lot of people watch it due to habit and not for the music. Let's face it, the music is horrible. Hell, people KNOW it's horrible. That's why Lordi won by such a landslide in 2006. It was finally something new.

There was France bringing Opera Italy- smooth jazz Iceland- traditional Finland 2006 with Lordi and Serbia in 2007 These are all good and worthy pieces with much effort put into it. So you have to admit there are some songs each year that represent good music which eurovision was originally about.

Almost all songs in this year's final were excellent. There can be only one winner.

Even the "bubble gum songs" like Denmark's, Hungary's and Azerbaijan's were done very well this year. And many songs were different. Ireland was pure Eurovision and almost as crazy as Moldova. Serbia was delightfully delirious. Estonia stylish. Germany hauntingly beautiful. Finland and Switzerland very good with the one person and a guitar concept, France and Austria with big voices ...
