To answer your question in your description Angel, I just finished the betrayal quest on my Sith Warrior alone with no companions. The after conversation is no different at all, not even different options. I was so disappointed, having the two of them alone had so many possibilities for apologies but nothing. Just a get on a the ship and no I won't tell anyone.
@rustdangel I have him married, but I kept the Legacy quest open so the letters or the conversation about children hadn't happened yet. Those conversations (the affection ones) don't change based on class story. I just felt it more fitting for the "the good and the bad" line be saved til after the betrayal because it made more sense in a story flow sense.
@ElainaTV yeah, there could have been *so much more* they could have done with that... I personally would have like an apology, or SOMETHING... *sigh*
@rustdangel Yes, he never actually says that he is sorry. He says he regrets doing it, as all people are when they've failed at something, but he never comes out and says "I'm sorry, I love you. I hope you can forgive me." Which would have been satisfying, maybe.
@rustdangel I also found some of his responses rather malicious. One option was "Youre very precise Quinn, I'm sure this will be my greatest test." And he says, "And if I'm right, your last." Who says that to someone they married? To someone who "really didn't want to do it"... that betrayal was so unsatisfying in so many ways, lol.
@rustdangel They won't be any different. Those conversations are predetermined and set to happen after certain planets (SW being Hoth/Quesh interlude to Belsavis for Quinns romance) you can wait until Corellia to do them but the game won't change the conversations. And trying to date a guy after he tries to kill you is pretty messed up. Lol
@rustdangel Which, by the way, is something to think about. Quinn's romance option opens up right before Belsavis after Baris' apprentice tries to kill you on Quesh, which is when it is speculated that Quinn starts planning to kill you "Baras and I have been planning this for a long time", So either he never loved you at all and the romance was a sham to gain your trust or BW is just deviant and likes to make me a conspiracy theorist.
@ElainaTV I still think that Baras deceived & manipulated Quinn into siding with him. He says "I have enjoyed your company and companionship my lord, that's why this is so hard. I didn't want to choose between the two of you, but he's forced my hand and I must side with him". But Quinn's nature is that he puts the interests of the Empire above all else, even his own feelings. I think his spitefulness is merely him trying to convince himself he's doing the right thing, for the Empire.
I broke up with him, which had my SW saying something like, "You are no longer welcome in my chambers." He said something like, "Then my actions have cost me dearly." Uh, dude, you tried to kill me, and if you succeeded I would have been dead. It's not like that would have been any better for our relationship!
@Vaerana I'm annoyed with BW making our (a F/SW's) ONLY real romanceable option try to kill us in the main story line. They could have totally made it so it was ANY of the other companions and my thinking is that if you play a F/SW then it could or SHOULD have been Jaesa.
@rustdangel Jaesa would be complicated because she could be either dark or light side, so it might be hard to think of motives for her to betray you. IMO they could just omit the betrayal altogether if you had a romance with him (or if his affection score was over a certain threshold) and have you actually get a signal emitter or something. I was definitely disappointed by the betrayal story.
@SugarCookied I found out that the betrayal is part of the class story line whether or not you've jumped into the romance option. But... for me, this came after all of the romance conversations, and I haven't had any other convo's with either of them since. =(
@rustdangel Aw, that's a shame. I was really hoping there would be some kind of "Let's salvage what remains of our relationship" talk or something. Maybe they'll add one later on.
@rustdangel Sorry, I didn't make that very clear. I was referring to the other video where she force chokes him and after that there are three options. "We'll see", "We are breaking up" and "[Flirt] All is forgiven".
@SugarCookied he gets that sad puppy dog look and say something like 'As you wish, my lord'. Which totally reminded me of The Princess Bride 'As you wish'. I wasn't sure if I was ever going to get another [Flirt] after that so I took that option.
@SugarCookied exactly how I felt. I just wish he wasn't the one that betrayed us. I'm making a shipper video, I think you might like it. I've cloned my SW so I can get more footage. I'll be done with it in about 20 levels. >.<
@rustdangel From a storytelling perspective I kind of liked it because it was all heartwrenching and terrible - and I love it when stories can provoke an emotional reaction. But at the same time I was like "Nooo! Whyyy! Not Quinn!" D': Also, oooh so looking forward to seeing this video!
The dialogue/voice acting actually pisses me off a bit. I hope they render it a bit more in time (massive doubts..) but c'mon, Quinn, more remorse for the person you CHOSE to initiate a marriage with, AND said you wanted babies with them, FFS.
Also, your Sith Warrior - dem thighs. That's some seriously tight crotch fitting trousers you're wearing.

@ElainaTV how far have you romanced Quinn? I'm just wondering how different the romance is after that.

@ElainaTV I'm leveing another SW (a marauder this time) and she's not actively seeking any romance till after the betrayal. I'm just curious.

Are there any other conversations with Quinn after the betrayal? Or any messages he sends you? Or is it just never mentioned again? :P

@SugarCookied That would be great if they did. I really enjoyed the SW class quest on Taris where all of the companions got to interact.

@rustdangel Out of curiosity, what happens if you choose the "We are breaking up" option?

@SugarCookied I did... that was the first part of this video.

@rustdangel Aww, that sounds adorable. Wish I could have seen that! <3 (Not that I'd ever have the heart to choose that option permanently)
