Because she used one of the Elixirs, which will be released for NA mabinogi soon. It increases your mp regeneration rate but 500 for 5 minutes. the mp draining from thunder is too slow for it to go down with such a high mp regen. rate

Glas Ghaibhleann isn't so much a replica as it is a resurrection. There's an entire Glas species out there, and Ghaibhleann was just incomplete. Gavelen is the complete thing.

In G1, the Glas's wings were tattered and torn, and if you remember, the fomors built the body from scratch, then called/separated the spirit to give it life.

This one (while I don't know much about the G9) seems more "lively". The wings are perfectly intact, there seems to be more to it than the G1 Glas, and there is the fact that they (players) are in a whole separate world. It wouldn't be hard to imagine that they paid a Glas a visit.
