Politics didn't define my view on the movie. I myself have mixed feelings about war. I thought the major weakness of the film was the lack of a good plot and storyline. Greengrass is good with stark realism and intensity, but not good on the creativity and overall quality. I thought the movie was very unoriginal. It seemed to be a mixture of the elements in Body of Lies and the Bourne movies. Sorry team Greengrass and Damon! Better luck next time.

It sucks really bad because the was no action, the political points weren't all accurate, and Matt Damon is not a good drama actor.

If you want to send a message to an American audience that what they did it Iraq was wrong, don't send it by hiring the cameraman from colverfield(who wobbles the camera even when filming conversations with people and zooms up on everything) to film a movie that has no action and is... what... over 5 years too late to do anything to an already war torn iraq???

one sentence review---it was a pretty good, gritty action flick. but never add an overshadowing, debateble political message, it ruins everything to some viewers by trying to enforce a opinionated view. its as if they are trying to hide politcial messages like this.

the guy at 3:08 is an idiot, first of all, we were pretty much forced to go to korea by the U.N, second, we never took over cuba, and third, we never took over iraq, the treaty we signed with sadaam said if he breaks it by building up weapons we have the right to overthrow the government of iraq.......hes a liberal idiot who needs to do his own research, im not justifying the war, im just stating hes wrong

Good film, good acting...
Its just a shame that Matt can only produce one emotion in everyone one of his films. But yes its the political side of it that effects peoples opinions. Although this is the point of the movie. So people shouldn't think because of its political effect its a bad movie.
If they aren't looking for a political debate with themselves when they leave the cinema, they shouldn't watch it.

The ten year olds are far less pretentious then the old liberal men who say it was very realistic. As if they know what Iraq is like. Having served in Iraq I am sick of this movie being compared to the hurt locker (a mostly realistic movie). And my friends with the MI who were on WMD teams in 03 hate this movie already.

The children probably shouldn't have been interviewed. It is almost ridiculous to get kid's opinions on a movie that has a deep political story line. So with that being said, Please don't get their opinion's. They also said "Shooter was stupid" like I said, they are kids.

The kids were by far the most intellegent of those interviewed. They have yet to be "Properly Educated" by the political hacks. The kids are the "Real Free Thinkers". They have no loyalty to any political party thus free to "tell the truth".
