That's just the console strafe (easiest imo), there's also the righty pc strafe, lefty pc strafe, and rpg strafe.

ok so do you run left or right and do the opposite direction from the first then jump. so if i go left first would i jump as fast as i could after i go right or would i go right and jump at the end of the jump. i know you try and go at the end of the jump anyway but should i jump as soon as i hit right?

I think the reason I haven't really been getting the strafe jump is because I don't sprint after I jump. I was using the semi-circle idea and I would run right diagonally and then go left right before the jump but I would just keep holding the analog stick in that direction. Do you actually have to press down like you would be sprinting after the jump?

its the same principle, move one way then travel in the other to go in a semicircle so for example sprint right, jump and hold left while sprinting midair. vice versa.

ok ill say it in steps:

1. pick where you want to jump on

2. look 45-90 degrees left or right from it

3. imagine a semi circle going from left to right or right to left from yourself to the object your jumping on.

4. Run left diagonally, and the second your about to jump hit right diaganol and jump then press sprint immediately after.

Same applies if your going right, then at the jump you go left. if you still dont get it try looking on youtube more for videos.

I use sniper and as side arm Golden desert eagle, I dont even pull out my side arm and i can still easily do it..

You DON'T have to use specific weapons or perks.

It doesn't matter what weapon you wear, it doesnt matter if you have specific perks, it doesnt matter if you pull out you're side-arm..

well thats ironic! PC strafe is sooooo much more easey for me. here is the key combo (Shift+A, then right befor you jump flick the moust in a smooth mannor. the way your looking after you flick the mouse is the way you will leave the ground. so sprint run flick jump
