I have this same interpretation in good quality (Audio only)and I can listen that Anette and Marco both are singing totally on other tone than the instruments, this is the first time I see the video and in 1:25 Anette makes gestures asking for the audio monitors, It seems like there were technical problems, becuse after that both are singing at the same tone of the instruments.

Anette can do better then this I am sure, but, shitty audio, first performance, and ugly outfit I'd sound a bit shaky too. It weird I think she looks like Tarja would if she was pretty and the stage movement is a lot alike.

There was some technical problems (you can actually see her waving that there is a problem :P) and she couldn't hear what she was singing. Her earmonitor didn't work or something like that.

Yes I meant other ones. This song is not that difficult actually. One of the few I see Anette singing with not problem. Slaying the dreamer, ever dream, Wishmaster and sleeping sun were the ones where I noticed she did quite an effort, like you said for a non-classically trained singer.
I´ve got to say it! I really didn´t like the way tarja sang this song, she sounded forced somehow. Eventhough this is bad quality at least to me(I make it clear), Anette seems to sing it without an effort.

Don't get me wrong, I like Anette. Maybe even more than Tarja, but this performance is terrible.
Doesn't mean I like her less though...Tarja couldn't do it very well either...
