I ave consulted a dentist if I could do invisalign since I've an ectopic canine and he said yes. But when I searched the official website of invsalign for the list of providers the clinic isn't in the list so now I have to consult another dentist. Btw how much it costs u?
@bibiwei7 I went round a few orthodontists before I went ahead with my treatment, just to see how much it would cost me and whether I liked the place. Overall it cost me £3000 :)
@bibiwei7 my bottom teeth are done! so they're straight. I'm 17/33 on top so only half way! Can't wait until its finished and I have a nice smile :D x
@bibiwei7 The first few days of when you initially get it but I've had mine now for 34 weeks and it doesn't hurt when changing, my teeth are use to moving now :)

@bibiwei7 hey, I don't have an ectopic tooth its just a wonky one. Im not sure if invisalign would fix that problem :O you'd have to ask an orthodontist .
Hey, I'm in Birmingham, UK and basically on the same journey. Top tray I'm on 10/18 of top and 10/21 bottom. I agree about the slight lisp, but hey it's a short-ish term thing, so we'll have our sexy tones back and beautiful teeth.
You're way ahead of me. Your teeth dont look nearly as bad as mine. I have 27U&L total (lots of crowding). Good luck with your Invisalign Journey and please keep updating your progress via youtube. You've inspired me to post my progress as well.
@Mon3yMotivateD1 It depends on what your drinking I suppose. If its really dilute juice then I drink with them in. But if its fizzy pop then I always take them out since there's so much sugar in it! :)
I'm on tray 1 (got 1st two trays on Monday). It hurt so bad that first time I took them out that I started crying. Now that I'm on day 3, it has become a lot easier to take them out and doesn't hurt as much. Still, I don't like taking them off late at night because it seems to hurt more the later in the evening it is.
@lilsisasu Yeah the first trays are the worst! I had full jaw/head ache. I just wanted to rip them out. I'm on tray 8 now and they're kinda sore the 1st day but fine after that. Feels normal to keep them in. I hope it becomes easier for you :)
I want to get invisalign because im reeeeaaallly scared of metal braces. I have a gap between my 2 front teeth and i really want to try this. How much does this cost in america?? Also, do you have to be a sertain age to put on invisalign.
@98grasshopper Mine were $5,750 for 23 upper and 20 lower trays. You also get 3 different sets (basically redos of however many trays are needed for each redo) included in the Invisalign "Full"...there are different types of it. Some get refinements if the first trays don't work...others don't.
@Qu33neY glad to hear it's going ok :) When you got the impressions done for them, did it make you gag?? They look really good and I don't think they make you lisp at all! Do your teeth feel wobbly at all?
@costadancer no no! I didn't gag just dribbled a bit :D Yeh my teeth were a bit wobbley to begin with for the like 1st 2 tray changes but now they're fine. No pain now at all. :) x
@costadancer The first few days/week they hurt quite a bit, achey pains. But now they're fine, forget that I have them in. In my opinion my other braces hurt more, maybe it was because my other orthodontist was horrible lol. I'm having my teeth shaved tomorrow so I'll let you know how that goes! :X x

Do you have to have the bottom done with invisalign? every video i watch about them they've had the bottom, i don't think i've seen one person with just the top or bottom on now that i think about it :)
@lechopper Yep I have both top and bottom. They do advise to have both arches done so that all the teeth can be moved into place. Also it costs the same so its a no brainer. :)

@98grasshopper I'm not sure of the cost in America, you'd have to look it up. Invisalign can be worn when your a teenager and when your an adult. :)
