I just went to Google in my HTC browser and clicked on "more" and "maps" and it asked if I wanted to download the application. It was pretty simple to use.
This video was helpful for the navigation aspects. Thank you.
okay so i have an lg dare and i was wondering how to remove the telus navigator my mom doesnt especially like to pay $10.00 more a month on top of $40.00 any tips? fast...
Yes but not using google maps. you can buy any gps software such as tom tom and it wont require an internet connection because the maps is loaded on the memory card.
@2phalanges just google for google maps for touch pro2, you will find results. its free to download but if you use it without data plan it is gonna cost you more that your phone.
I will suggest you to buy either TOmTom or Garmin for windows mobile and install it on your SD card. You pay once or you can find some cracked versions without paying for it and you never have to worry about data plans or bills.
The IPhone is quite possible the most hyped pile of s*** on the market, for a device of it's price and supposed calibre it's a joke that it can't do most of the tings a smartphone for $100 less can do more efficiently. Epic FAIL, no snapdragon or NTEGRA processor, no multitasking, no flash content since 2007 and basically the same stale design from 2007. Plus the Interface is starting to show it's age, it's ease of use and apps store are the only factors of it being within the top.
