Yeah it is. I can turn on or off the LEDs however I want, and I just didn't have them turned on in this video. Please read the comments when posting a new one. This has been pointed out already.
The Wiimote can be on without the lights. Watch my other videos. The lights do a little dance in my mouse video, and in my OoT video they light up depending on which C button was most recently used.
I give you a tip you can download a program to make the controll vibrate and have the lights on,i use the Xbox 360 controller for Windows it didn't have light but neither did it vibrate so i downloaded a input for it and now works very well
dude plllz tell me the exact steps u did. i need help badly. i used this script and press run. then i go to the emulator go to controld and put ppjoy. but nothin happens plzzz tel me
he could be using darwiinremote for mac. one fault though, the latest version of this program does not provide motion feedback as a control for any n64 emulators on mac. plus you can not use the nunchuck joystick as a controller either for any emulators.
no its not.... it dose work.... im telling the truth... try it for your self... get a bluetooth dongal thingy, get a wiimote, and download glovepie...
Wow, you're dumb. Look around, you'd know that the wiimote doesn't turn the light on by itself, it only does that on the wii so you know which player you are. When using glovePIE, you can set which LED lights are on.
please help, how did you get all of this.. lol. Like the game, did you download it? Can someone please give me a tutorial/guide on this. Thanks. (Sorry if a noob)
Another thing a is regular attacks and side on the control pad is smash attacks so u should pres pad to right to shoot a star in star rod but u pressed side control stick! Also U SHAKING THE WIIMOTE OR NUNCHUK WITHOUT SOMETHING TO PICK UP THE MOVEMENT OF THE CONTROLLER
Swinging the wii remote will execute a smash attack, but the motion detection isn't perfect. You can look at the script posted in the description to see how it works. C is for jumping.
You don't need a sensor bar unless you're using a pointer. This is just using motion controls and the information about the controller orientation is relayed over Bluetooth.
Lol yeah I used to doubt the whole "wiimote on computer" deal until I kept seeing video after video of it, so I finally bought a bluetooth adapter, hooked my wiimote up, and went to wiili to see for myself. I must say I'm pretty impressed.
The Wiimote is ON. Watch when he presses the A button, the lights don't blink. When the Wiimote is on the Wii, the lights are turned on by..the Wii. So when you use the computer, if you want to incorporate the lights into your program, you can, but most of the time they're just off. I have a Bluetooth adapter and have done this myself (not SSB though, it sounds fun I'll try sometime :)
First of the word is 'impossible', not 'unpossible'.
And this is completely possible. The N64 rom is being run on the computer via Project64 and the input from the Wiimote is directed by the GlovePIE application.
The lights on the Wiimote only turn on when they're told to, whether or not its on. I could turn them all on, all off, or make them blink in any pattern I choose.
I wasn't worried about proving it was 100% real when I made the script, I was just doing it 'cause it was neat. However, you you want to see a script where I do control the LED's, just look over at the first video I posted with the Wiimote. I use it as a mouse, and the LED's blink in a pattern.
this is very possible. U can just use the emulator and program the will remote to the computer, u also don't need the sensor bar since its just shaking toe wii remote and the nunchuck, and if u do look carfully u can see the actions do match the screen.
IT's NOT fake. First of all, the wiimote DOES NOT need the sensor bar to function! It's all bluetooth, and the IR pointing isn't needed for playing with theese controls. It would also be impossible to controll an emulator with mouse like movements. The LEDs isn't on, because the Glovepie script doesn't tell the wiimote to light them.
its fake. 1.There is no sensor bar. 2. the wii mote isn't even fukin on. 3. the movements you make on the controller and the buttons you press do not not the screen. 4. iTs super smash bros meele, it is not possible to usr the wii mote.
1. You do not need a sensor bar. A sensor bar is just a couple of IR LEDs. It doesn't sense anything, it only lets the Wiimote know where it's pointing. I've built one myself, I know how it works.
2. The blue light only turns on when I tell it to. Look at my other videos, I control the lights on the Wiimote
3. I'm the only one in the room. To fake something this would be more trouble than it's worth.
4. This is the original SSB, not SSBM. SSB can be played on the computer via an emulator.
My hand movements only affect up+B and smashing, and the reason there's delay is because I'm routing the Wiimote though GlovePIE to the emulator, and there's a certain amount of force required to get it to react anyway.
if u type supr smash bros on brawl( on google) nd click the first link, u will see that the site is going to become viewable in 4 DAYS!!!! mark ur calendars may 21st 07 !

It's part of the smash mechanism. When the Wiimote registers enough velocity in any direction, it smashes. The best way I could come up with to do this was to have it emulate pushing the control stick to the furthest extreme for a split second, then hit A. Since I was already doing something else, A got skipped over I guess and it just made me make a hard turn to the left. Look at the link in the description to see the actual script, you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

hey i got this mixed up gyroscope and accelometer but dude this how come marios movements are late compared to u when ur wii movement or controlling some parts are exact well this can be fake but i did say something about programming your com and well u have that glove crap but this can also be easliy faked many ways my friend many ways
yes anythings possible espically with the bluetooth inside it makeing it easier to read wireless communications but foremost the controllers still need to be on they need to be programmed to the new system data or programming progress and if u want the game to read the movements u have to program ur laptop to because the wii is programmed to notice the movement when u flick the wiimote reading its gyroscope telling the wii there doin something example wii boxing (punching)
I use a program called GlovePIE to check when buttons are being pushed and see what the values are on the accelerometers (The Wiimote doesn't have gyros, by the way). It can sense when I flick it because I tell it to simulate a button press when the absolute value of the acceleration vector exceeds a certain arbitrary amount.
Before calling it fake please watch my other video where I show how this is done step by step.
this is fake 1st off wii controllers are not even on second this can be an emulation and some1 else can be playing the game hiding from the screenshot or this was recored or downloaded and this guy just recored himself with wiimote playing video of super smash bros
You obviously didn't bother reading the comments. I've already explained more than once that the LED's aren't on be default. When the Wii system connects to the Wiimote, it tells it which lights to turn on. In this case, I didn't send any signal to turn the lights on so they remained off.
This is not fake. GlovePie allows button presses on the Wiimote to be mapped to keyboard presses, even movements of the wiimote or controller. Therefore, this is totally possible. I'd actually like to try this with Super Smash Bros. Melee. That would be soo hard/fun.
The sensor bar doesn't do anything but blink infrared lights so the infrared sensor on the front of the wiimote can determine its orientation when pointed at the screen. Everything else is handled by wireless bluetooth communication, which can easily be done on a computer with bluetooth capabilities.
First of all, do you see the lights above the computer? Those produce heat, IR light comes from heat. The sensor bar just gets power from teh wii and turns on 6 IR led lights that are about 7.5 in apart (3 on each side). They are used to triangulate the wii-mote's position. He is using lights. No sensor bar. He could use candles just as well.
wow thats so fake a three year old would no it wtf ur controller isnt on theres no wii wires in the laptop thats the n64 version and thts not on shop channel
This is being played on an emulator on my computer. I'm controlling the LED's with the script I'm running. I simply didn't turn them on. The Wii Remote can be on but not have any lights turned on.
I think this is a fake because i dont see a sensor bar so movements would not apply and if there was a sensor bar he is way to close to them for them to register correctly. So idk its kinda iffy
Sensor bar doesn't sense anything. It only emits light so that the Wiimote can see where it's pointing when it's facing the screen. The Wiimote's accelerometer data is sent to the computer via bluetooth.

This is not fake. GlovePie allows button presses on the Wiimote to be mapped to keyboard presses, even movements of the wiimote or controller. Therefore, this is totally possible. I'd actually like to try this with Super Smash Bros. Melee. That would be soo hard/fun.

ok then were the hellz the cencor bar? just cuze its posible dont mean it aint fake
fhgaty2 4 years ago

I agree. The lights are supposed to be ON. This guy probally recorded this vid, and made believe he's playing it. OH now i know why he said he Sucks.

fhgaty2 4 years ago
sooooo fake some one els is playing but thay arnt showing it to sddo that u need a specel controler not a numchuk or a pointer
fhgaty2 4 years ago
The script that I use to receive input from the Wiimote can also be used to set the LEDs. I just didn't add any instructions to light up any lights.

how do u get this? idk if i c it on the virtual console or not
Krishnaroks 4 years ago
It's not on the VC yet. I used an emulator to play the game, and GlovePIE to use the Wiimote with it.

very nice, very cool idea to set up the remote for use with an emulator

That is sooo awsome. So in order to do this you need
1. Wiimote and Nunchuck
2. A emulator r with the game
3. Glovepie
4. A Wii sensor bar? Or does it use bluetooth?":

jishan295 4 years ago
This is being played on an emulator on my computer. I'm controlling the LED's with the script I'm running. I simply didn't turn them on. The Wii Remote can be on but not have any lights turned on.

Haha I know this is an old message but seriously, if you're going to complain at least try not to sound like a lolcat

I think this is a fake because i dont see a sensor bar so movements would not apply and if there was a sensor bar he is way to close to them for them to register correctly. So idk its kinda iffy
AnonymousGRN 4 years ago
Sensor bar doesn't sense anything. It only emits light so that the Wiimote can see where it's pointing when it's facing the screen. The Wiimote's accelerometer data is sent to the computer via bluetooth.
