The children is freaky. It HAD to be a dark thunderous rainy night first I played that level. And I spent a long time in there. Raised the hairs on my neck hearing the kids crying out and whispering. Absolutely nerved me out.

Maybe there's another reason besides them being the victims of the Collector. The history of that library was never told in the movies so there could of been a fire in the past, multiple deaths and some of the fatalities were children.
