SS seemed to put a lot of emphasis on street safety with its DON'T WALK segments back in the 70s and 80s. They need to bring that back!

Of course, they'd need brand-new material since pedestrian-crossing signals all have pictures on them now, not words...can you imagine a four-year-old trying to guess what the red hand means?

I agree. My city upgraded most of their walk signals to the wordless signals in 2003.
