  • i want one.

  • I love that fucking car. But.. that wing at 2:06 kind of disappoints me. It's like they robbed it off a MkIV Sooopra.

  • I just chased one of these around town on my SV yesterday, god these cars are amazing machines. To those lucky enough to own them, 3 cheers!

  • I'll have the red one. Pretty please.

  • powered by Ford.

  • Italian Styling, American Muscle and German Gearbox! All made for a true international Muscle Car of the 70's! This car, the 427 Cobra and the Ford GT40 would be in my 'Dream Garage'!

  • Yellow Pantera sound the best!

  • It has the sexy curves of italian woman, but its heartbeast is a mighty usa fat and fucking strong ford v8.

  • the red one is a fucking beast...

  • If you don't drive a Pantera.... WALK!

  • @kutuluu lolz epic band reference. I'd like 5 minutes alone with a Pantera :D

  • amerikan horsepower rules! wish I had that wheel!

  • gave me a hard on

  • Gorgeous car in almost every aspect. This is one cut price supercar I would be proud to show off.

  • monster of a car, lotus esprit v8 is also nice

  • Lovely :)

  • why dont they fit those super fat tires on supercars these days?

  • @usefullpoop they do, just the tires nowadays have a thinner sidewall for better handling.

  • The donks were made in Australia my friends.

  • Looks almost like an old Lancia Stratos to me. Nice car to be honest, am just not a fan of its sound. But luckely tastes are allowed to differ. :P

  • Lets not forget that it was designed by a dutch guy Tom Tjaarda, son of Joop Tjaarda (who among other cars designed the Lincoln Zephyr)

  • @CarPicsAndWalls the spoiler on the red one reminds me of the roadrunner! XD

  • i know a dude with a pantera. i was ridin my bike home from walmart and he asked me if i wanted to see it.

  • Italian design and American muscle. Beautiful car which is cheap to run compared to a Ferrari.

  • That is the real power of love. I'm in love. <3,

  • i made a mess in my pants

  • reeeeally amazing cars ! havent seen it befor : P

  • Italian sexiness, with classic american power. a good combo IMhO

  • Si es un carro con diseño italiano, pero con motor construido por ford, es un V8 con caja de 5 velocidades.

  • The DeTomaso Pantera is the best car ever in my opinion.

  • damn, the red one has some massive exhaust on that beast. gotta be 4"ers

  • love panteras !! saw a awesome one at a car show 1974!!

  • My only Mustang was a '69 Mach one with a 351 Cleveland. It was black with a flat black hood and gold striping. I took it to Irwindale Raceway and did a 15 sec run, completely stock! I got from my sister when she got a new '72 mach. It also had flat black louvers over the back window. I miss that car. It would cruise at 100 down the 605 to the beach, and I would watch as all the traffic in the fast lane would move over so I could blaze by!

  • a 351 clevland ford has never has sounded like this except with the mach1 mustang ...FORD DOMINATES ALL!!!!! :)

  • Alejandro De Tomaso es ARGENTINO !!!

  • LOVE the engine sounds!

  • the sound of the first one is my fave...so fucking nice...

  • at 1:20 it sounds like a machine gun :)

    amazing sound!

  • when a was a kid i knew personally Alejandro, he was a incredible person.

he loved horse riding( was a polo player) ,he had argentinian ponies in a mini ranch located inside his modena factory, he loved motobikes (was a racerider, and owner of guzzi/benelli), he was a car racer too(and owner of maserati, innocenti.)...what elase, he and his son where engineering geniuses, they invented the monotrave aluminium chassis, same solution used today for the lotus, first appeared in maserati Barchetta

  • italian v8!!! oh yea!

  • they had ford engines. its what the countach should have looked like.

  • It's a Ford engine meaning its an American V8 everything else is Italian

  • yep,the ford cleveland engine!!

  • your an idiot

  • No, Italian car AMERICAN V8

  • Actually the guy came from Argentina

  • maybe so, BUT was the car built in argentina or italy or where? if i may ask?

  • @yamahonkawazuki Italy, Modena to be exact. De Tomaso was from Argentina, but moved to Italy.

  • WHOA one of the best sounds ive ever heard

  • Incredible sound, love it!

  • The swedish king ownes a De Tomaso Pantera 71

  • Hehe, he never drives it though.

  • holy jesus... now thats what i call a decent sound !!!!

  • Most of these "Pantera experts" don't know a thing about its history in connection with Argentina. The flag is proudly displayed everywhere.

  • yh i say that aswell

  • De Tomaso was born in Argentina and his parents were Italian. Like most Argentines like myself. Notice the Argentine flag on the wheels, and inside the car trim. Light blue and white.

  • AMAZING SOUND!!

  • the first sounds like a '30s or '40s hot rod!

  • 1;24 on the left the guys holding his ears thats how loud it is awesome!

  • this car is bitchin I would give my left nut for that thing

  • @jamesmeeks1 left nut only?? i would give my sexual organs lol

  • Italian styling whit american v8 power

    Perfect combo

  • De Tomaso is Argentine, not Italian. Pagani as well.

  • well it actually doesn't, i try to explain:

mr Alejandro De Tomaso was an Argentin with italian parents who founded the DeTomaso factory in Modena, Italy

this fact was its luck and its doom at the same time, due to the lean quality of the italian steel in that age, anche the petroleum international crysis

  • But his parents were Italian.

  • @Petrolhead1984 Actually detomaso is Argentinian XD. But our Ferrari is already American too. Enzo was inspired by American the American V12. Who knows if it wouldnt have been for his fright of flying, he might have emigrated to America at some point and Ferrari would be an American brand today.

  • @Petrolhead1984 yeah, wouldn't it be a kick to have one of the Ford Nascar engine builders "massage" one of those motors in the off season, to drop back in there...southern hip as ya' can git, whether it's southern Italy or the long flat roads of central Alabama! :-)

  • @Petrolhead1984 its american styling.de tomaso hired an american in the usa to design the body.

  • street music!!!

  • Wow, ignorance at its finest! Obviously somebody that doesn't have one. See my Ferrari vs. Pantera video. Out of a field of about 50 other cars (all kinds of makes/models), the Pantera had a second best time.

Maybe some day you will learn how to drive and realize just how stupid you were... I mean are.

  • By any chance have you ever see the blue Pantera TT that was on street fire for ages? I can't seem to find it now but he was pusing over 500hp... but I think he went with a different engine. Personally I'd keep the Iron in the car. American iron is almost imposable to kill.

  • @4durt Listen to the way he talks... "Trolly Jack"...... He's either a moron or he's been watching too many top gear shows. All Top Gear does is breathe out hatred towards anything that comes out of America... If it can't beat a Ferrari then it's garbage.. if it does beat a Ferrari then they talk about Poor design.

  • Haha, you wish you even had a broken trolly jack to drive.

BTW, "Amarican" and "Whats"??? Haha, I guess that qualifies your level of intelligence!

  • hey buddy, if you go to willow springs, there are tons of panteras that kick ass, why don't you check it out some time

  • Mind that you're talking about a 35 y.o.project.Let aside today's standards.

Pantera's handling performance was equal if not better than several great GT of the70/80es

by Lambo,Ferrari and Maserati. The main reason

for De Tomaso being underrated (in Europe)was the USA engine. But no chance, mandatory choice

as Chevy and Ford were the only available engines providing high output and reliability

    at affordable money=

    Don't be so rude! Greetings=

  • Yeah, they underrated it until it walked all over their cars just like the Ford GT40 did. It made them mad when a "primitive engine" managed to kill 4 cam engines with ease.

  • lol @ acerotooll, he's got his head stuck so far up his ass he wouldn't know a good car when he saw one.

This video presents excellent automobiles. Man that'd be nice to have one of those.

  • @acerotooll you are a dick

  • That's good for 70's cars?! Wow... 60's and 70's cars were the best for horsepower at the rear wheels... Until they changed to low compression engines...

  • white flame in minute..00:27

  • how can you NOT resist to rev it like that? it deserves to be unleashed. Who cares about mileage, you only live once:)

  • You're obviously not afraid to rev the wee-wee out of it!

  • my uncle has one of these (not an original but an exact replica)

  • Great. Now i need new pants!

But seriously, i'd rather have one of these than a gf

  • dont be an idiot you would have many girls if you had this.

  • Thats awsome

  • Daaaaammnnn! Those straps they use to anchor the car to the dyno are freaking awesome! I think they are RP 64 S's, made with HD enforced nylon and aluminum locks. Very nice.

  • talk about the cars

  • The red one is amazing. omg

  • argentinian beef ;)

  • The pantera makes me cry. I want one, it's so beautiful, the sound it makes is awesome. I have never felt this way for any cars.

  • Best car I ever owned. I had big bumper '74, chassis 06152. If you ever find a nice rust-free one for sale, jump on it! You won't regret it. Most reliable supercar ever made.

  • Ive fallen in love all over again
