i agree his bow arm is really ridged and is intonation is a little off. but for a kid his age thats quite good

He's pretty good at his age but the pianist needs to play softer shes covering this kid's melody and whenever this kid plays fast notes his notes just gets softer for no reason and he really needs to work on that

he needs to relax his arm and his thumb position could better this is my solo for a contest and he is really good because he is playing this piece at this age and im 14... and he also has some unnessessary ritardandoes

I agree with some other people here... What's the point in playing the piece when you can't play it well? I understand that the boy is only ten and it's amazing how well he was able to play it considering is age. But at the same time, his teacher should have chosen a different song for him, more age and skill appropriate.

Very good for your age.

But from one cellist to another, I think you should have worked a bit more on your technique. Ecspecially in the higher regions.

I agree with connykitty at this age, when it seems he is not actually fully ready for this piece. Even though he can probably play this better than me lol. From one cellist to another i think you should gain more experience and techniques in playing pieces that would suit you.

I think it's not good to play such pieces in that age... It's better to be older, to make his own performance very well... It shouldn#t be like "The younger you can play this, the better you are..." Isn't it so?

he's good, i don't agree with some of his bowings, but that's just my interpretation. probably one of the better performances of this piece :) (i just played it a month ago and i'm 13)
