Great lyrics there. In my opinion, best Closer fandub on youtube. It's better that you never used the 100% translation that everyone else has done as all the lyrics you used are great and is better than repeating the same jap lines that are just the english ones.

Yeah, I tend to cringe when I hear people trying to force the literal translation to fit. Sometimes tweeking it is the only way to make it sound like it could be an official English Dub, so I tend to go that route and just keep as much to true translation as I can.

I don't send my tracks to people for copyright reasons, but there's nothing stopping you using a video-to-mp3 site, there are about 5 of them. just websearch 'video to mp3' and you'll get a whole list :)

Yeah, the literal translation is hard to sing to the music, and doesn't rhyme in the places you'd expect them to in a song. That's why I edit them for all my fandubs ^_^

I do fandubs like this with about an hour or two editing lyrics, several of practicing singing those lyrics, followed by usually a full afternoon recording and arranging XD

Oh, wow.

Only thing I'm not sure about is some of the words' timings seems off, and the harmonies seem a little odd... but your voice was amazing! This seems like a perfect song for you!

yeah, the timings are a little off on the verses, but after recording 6 times to get this one I figured it was good enough. XD

As for the harmonies, it was incredibly hard to make out the ones in the original, so I ended up improvising a little.
