  • I saw Hazel in concert with the BluJa Project in Tavistock (Devon) about a month ago. She's still sounds amazing, looks great but she's gong bluesy and jazzy which really suits her now richer voice. It was great to see her.

  • i have seen the Movie when i was 15then in the 80tis,very geil.

  • the original Lady Gaga ! lol

  • Executive producer Dodi Fayed ... wasn't that the guy who was with Princess Di ???

  • @Spiritobliss

Yes, he was her friend also killed in the crash - he came from major money - father owned Harrod's department store.

  • Hazel is amazing..I think GaGa copies her!

  • Met this lady and too right be careful what you wish for!

  • "Breaking Glass" is a minor masterpiece; this is the New Wave version of "A Star Is Born." Whether you like the music or not the message is the same; "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it."

  • amazing film

  • OMG - Dodi Al Fayed produced. He was the guy that died with Princess Diana

  • hazel awesome

  • Marco, Merrick, Terry-Lee and yours truly! Gary Tibbs was in this!

  • Awesome movie and soundtrack. Unfortunately I only have the VHS version where the entire final scene is not included (film ends with Hazel on stage). I would love to get the complete version on DVD but it's not available in the States.

  • I have the Us VHS. Whats the true ending?

  • Good film for its day and i still listen to the soundtrack today

  • Hazel Connor was on tour in my town a couple of years ago - at one point she got everyone who knew the lyrics to Will You to join her to sing it without the music. It was amazingly atmospheric. Dodi Fayed was involved in producing this movie.

  • love this movie and album

  • me too :-)

  • It's really amazing. I haven't heard the "Breaking glass" soundtrack for about 15 years until I found this video by accident...

Heard it this week on vinyl and found out: I still know the lyrics. You'll never forget amazing songs :-))... Oh, and I also tried to get the movie: 489,-€ (NO JOKE) at the amazone market place *ouch. Could someone tell me I can download it??? Thanx

  • the movie is available on dvd from amazon but its really expensive currently £36 - £99

    great movie

  • brilliant

  • You made my day! One of my absolute favorite movies from the 80's. Everyone thinks I'm nuts when I talk about it. Anyone know where I can get the movie or the soundtrack at least? Another one I would like to find is Ladies and Gentleman the Fabulous Stains, also another great movie form the 80's.

  • The Executive Producer was Dodi Fayed, so you could try looking round his his old man's Harrods for a copy.

  • I've still got this on vinyl. I still play it. I thought nobody else did until I hooked up with a Lady in Rotterdam and found that she too had a copy.

  • Yeah, I also have it on vinyl and LOVE it... My favorite 80's movie and soundtrack. I also have it on video, but it's soooo old and the quality is "horror", but I could never throw it away. Great to see that I'm not the only one who loves this movie :-)

  • Was a nye on impossible film to get a copy of for quite some time; I beleive I finally got it via P2P. Shouldn't be such a chore to see it escpecially considering how relevant it is now again today; I almost want to go down tour city's market square where all the new alternative youths hang out with a laptop and say "here have a look at this"!

  • in the summer of 1982 my friend went to visit relatives in England and brought back to the states the Breaking Glass soundtrack on a cassette. I tresured that cassette until it just broke. Great Movie. I love Hazel O'Connor.

  • Oh suc

  • I never noticed that Dodi Fayed was the exec producer! I went to IMDB to see if it was, in fact, THE same Dodi Fayed that was dating Princess Diana. Damn, y'all! What can I say? the man had great taste in music as well as women!

  • Great memories from my youth, Loved the film, Hazel O'Connor, and the punk scene. Music these days are no comparison to the late 70's and 80's.

The best artists of this era was Hazel and susie & the banshies, X-ray Specs.

Excellent Video thanks for sharing - Good Job

  • pause the film at 2.19 have a look at the name of the exec producer!
