if you look at christanity as God sending his only begotten son jesus; to reedem the sins of mankind; and to set up an everlasting kingdom for those who repent of their sins; and believe that jesus is the way the truth and the light; and that no man enters the kingdom but through him then you are a christian and thats what jesus taught. weather or not jesus clled it christanity is a moot point.
oh... ok.. i guess we're on the same page about that...lol.. sorry, as for whether or Christian teachings today are in line with what Jesus teaches, my personal opnion is NO.
the Christians were called that because they were followers of Jesus, they did not worship him as a God, the earliest christians (As they were referred to by the Romans, and later we took on that label for ourselves) were the gnostics... that's what I know anyway... whether or not a lot of these arguements surrounding
@cindyknowsitall true chritians were called cristians first in Antioch; becuase they were followers of christ teachings; jesus never said to worship him he said to believe in him; he never said explicitly that he was god; he always refered to himself implicitly as the son of god; sure he said i and my father are one; and if you senn me you have seen the father; but you can take that firgativily or literally.
@cindyknowsitall im very much aware that christanity was not mentioned around the time of jesus; but that really is a moot point; the wuestion is what did jesus teach: and is modern day christanity inalignment with what jesus taught.
Brother J. From the Public Enemy hit "Night of the Living Baseheads" and K. Muhammads greatest words, "Have you forgotten that once we were brought here, we were robbed of our name, robbed of our language. We lost our religion, our culture, our God...and many of us, by the way we act, we even lost our minds." Khalid was an interesting individual. As far as Yakub creating white people, that is a bunch of garbage! That said, lets wait and see what the Brother says in return.
The burden of proof is not on me My Brother but it is on you. Is this Yakub spoken of in the Quran? What of the "Mother Wheel". What of the NOI views on W.F. Muhammad? Traditional Sunni and Shi'a Muslim doctrine is that it is heretical and blasphemous to believe that God would manifest Himself in human form or any material form. Likening any individual to God is a form of shirk, meaning a major sin in True Islam. That said, look up Muslim enslavement of Africa! I'm non denominational! I study!
