  • by chance would that happen to be a canadian station, seeing that the call letters are ckfd ?

  • This had to be very early 80s with the mention of Yuri Andropov.

  • Germany was East and West then, for Young People who do not know. Peace

  • @RustArtRed hard to believe it's actually been that long. and for the young ones, ask them about the east German Stasi

  • @1RadicalOne: SPECIAL REQUEST: I'd like to have a cd of this. If it is not too much to ask , i will pay for whatever amount of postage and more, please let me know.

  • TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING IT'S OVER

  • @SuperNickBowser I'd be a bit more worried about the silo-launched ICBMs than the tactical ones, for those would be used mainly for battlefield use.

  • This really good! well made! Gripping!! Wow!

  • Opening to all this is identical to the movie the Day After.

  • disgusting.

  • gj :)

  • "They came without warning and they came shooting"

Forgive me for being a huge cretin, but I do believe that those are two of the major prerequesites for a suprise military strike...

  • Seriously terrible acting. Terrible!

  • Russia allways wins. Get that in your head.

  • I genuinly wish the Soviets had pushed all the way to the Atlantic in 1945 and conquered ALL of Europe including Britain. Look at Europe today, the Eastern part is still almost exclusively inhabited by Indigenous Europeans. While the Western part is a joint afro/asian colony where Europeans are a persecuted dying minority too brainwashed by "left-wing" anti-Euroic propaganda to fight this evil occupation.

  • @5thcenturyad HA, occupation? and before you were born many of these countries were occupied by whites and that time there was no democracy but slavery, at least these people didn't made the white man their slave and for your information about the so called "indigenous europeans", where do you think we came from? where do you think the human race came from in the first place, pure race? we're all mixed and related to a lot of people we don't even know.

  • @e16able YES OCCUPATION. Indigenous Europeans never gave any consent to their governments to allow tens of millions of ugly alien colonists -with no ancestral links to Europe -to invade our already over-crowded homeland. As a deliberate policy of population replacement this is also an act of genocide. But judging by your pathetic comments youre clearly too ignorant to comprahend this; your entire argument seems to be "they havent enslaved us yet so we should allow this genocide to continue".

  • @5thcenturyadPathetic comments, ignorant, as far as i remember i did not offended you in any way, i respect everyone, every comment, well, clearly you're not up for this, don't bother replying, i've had enough of your insults. Genocide? White people are good at it, they still doing it, oh and by the way, "comprahend"? Your grammar sucks, lol, go back to school.

  • @e16able I will reply to who ever I want you brain-washed fool. If u don't want a reply then don't give one. Clearly u dont know (or dont care) about the demographic holocaust now being commited against my race because u want to blame White people today for supposed "crimes" commited by Whites generations ago, According to your warped logic I could legally kill u today if your great-grandfather killed my great-grandfather 100 ysr ago. you ignorant pathetic brain-washed lump of shit.

  • @e16able do not talk about whites committing genocide when native blacks butcher each other in the millions in Africa. you racist.

  • While it is of course true that the real reason for genocide is human nature - and that no race is inherently worse than any other for it - it is true that whites (i.e. Europeans) have caused the majority of it, simply because they have been the most influential for most of history.

  • @1RadicalOne I think you will find that pound for pound "whites" are not responsible for the majority of genocide if you go back far enough :)

  • @e16able What an idiot you are. I genuinely hope you die a slow and painful death in a consentration camp you disgusting animal.

  • @e16able What about the Jew's in Palastine?

  • why do the soviets what to evade in the first place they got all the land they need WTF

  • @arsoncrook well the soviets needed way to mach land that practicaly possible in order to support there economy and also the best way to control a population is by occupation but the land would be unuseble for sevral centuresie

  • the cold war never technically ended it was just dimmed down. i dont care who your patriotic with countries at this point we only have a collection of nukes to scare eachother we will probably never use more than 5 lol

  • @MrMeineNamen there is no soviet union anymore russia is replaceing its nuclear arsinal with thermobaric weapon

  • @barrow29 i can tell you they will never completely replace it

  • @MrMeineNamen do you even know wat one is

  • @barrow29 yes... its an intense explosion in a controlled space by thermobaric power... not that hard dude

  • @MrMeineNamen wat the heck is thermobaric power

  • Alright who thought it was a good idea to give the soviets 25 kills?

  • @crazystupidperson777 the soviets made those nuclear weapons, they don't need dumb ass killstreaks to use them.

  • soviets would have to go into eastern Germany first...

  • @jamlad08 lol eastern germany was communist run in the cold war... remember

  • @jamlad08 The problem is they were there all the time, if you know about the GSSD (Group of Soviet Soldiers in Germany). In case of a war the GSSD and the NVA (Nationale Volksarmee) would have been the first attackline. If you're interested in the alt. history, then watch World War 2: The Movie. Pretty terrifying if you think about the consequences. :(

  • I love when england gets nuked the news guy dosent know what to do.

  • @stickmanpwner64 If I didn't have family down there I'd wish it nuked lol!

  • the bad thing is, even if the war would have happened just in europe, germany would have been the most fucked country. germany would be a bloody nuclear wasteland. and this time we weren't even been to blame. :(

  • CANADAAA????

  • as for north korea...they wont do anything either due to the fact they know china will kick their ass for starting a war since the majority of china's food producing land would be at risk in the event of a strike on n korea. pakistan and india will cause a nuclear event if any conflict will .

  • I do fear some of the drift in the United States might lead to some of them advocating nuclear attacks, whether it be American or otherwise. Indeed, one politician recently said that the US should "consider the nuclear option" to a country cutting off trade with it.

  • @1RadicalOne Doesnt help that China backs Iran and Pakistan and that there is how WW3 could start. India would square off against pakistan with the US and Russia would back inidia for political gains since the Russians hate the Chinese. You see how it would all fall together here?

  • @m82wings Er..... Hello? North Korea and China are as close as Uk and Usa? if you need proof of this look at N. Korea's latest "Exercises" and China's response comparded to the west's.... pfft

  • to start this little production was cool the acting sucked but hey for school kids it was damn good. now for all the armchair generals dont worry about china they wont use nukes except for in defense any more than we would

  • @m82wings the governtment is unstable there for we will probly be the first to fire

  • sounds much cooler and more original on 240

  • These kids have some talent, specially since the voice sounds like a 30 year old man.

  • @1RadicalOne.

I recommend watching World War 3: The Movie It depicts an alternative outcome of the events affecting the USSR in 1989. You can find all ten parts on youtube. it's done in a documentary style and you might enjoy it.

  • I saw that one, actually. Yes, it was very good.

  • @1RadicalOne They need to remake a remake of that movie. A GOOD remake set in modern times, and alternative history in which the USSR persists into the 21st century.

  • i cant hear anything

  • Really? You have no audio? Check your speakers, both for volume and functionality.

If that does not work, check your audio drivers.

  • 1:58 Dresden...AGAIN! Man, those poor fuckers always get fucked! LOL!

  • wow this was great, I cant say that I enjoyed it as it could happen to us all. Just replace the divided Germany's with the Korea;s ,or Isreal against take your pick, Auckland islands vs Anartica (humor). This simulation hits me in the most frightening of ways no matter how prepped I am against any other disasters man made or natural, there is little I can do to combat a nuke attack. 2nd why would I want to survive a good all out nuking it wont be all cool like mad max i dare say

  • Well, the good news is that North Korea has limited missile capability, and at any rate a war there would not likely cascade into a global nuclear war; after al, North Korea has few, if any, allies.

  • I think that if multiple nuclear weapons were used against a single target, they would have to be detonated simultaneously because the if the E.M.P. from the first one to go hits the others, they would be rendered inoperable because it would fry the electronics that are required for a successful detonation. What do you think? =)

  • Well, when multiple warheads are sent to a target, they usually disperse from the same missile and are therefore in close timing to each other.

Additionally, it may be the case that EMP is not significant at extremely close range, or that the nukes, being Cold-War era, are too "dumb" to be affected.

The launch mechanisms are modernized, but much of the hardware sitting in those silos has been sitting there for decades.

  • @1RadicalOne Yeah, modern ICBMs are equipped with MIRV (multiple independent reentry vehicles), so I can see how their timing would be pretty close However, their targeting systems, although old, do still have transistors which are vulnerable to E.M.P. I would imagine that the E.M.P. effect would be greater when the range is shorter. I'm just glad we never learned if this is true or not through experience. This is an awesome video, btw. =)

  • Actually, I think that the EMP is not created directly by the warhead. If it is the same mechanism as a solar storm, it is the effect the blast has on the planetary magnetic field, which in turn acts like a giant generator on the transmission systems. You need long power lines for this, and the blast needs to affect the magnetic field. That means only a high-altitude burst would do it, making it useless for targeting something, and the nukes lack the long wires to serve as a coil.

  • @1RadicalOne you're right my friend

  • @MichoRizzo44 the emp works only if the explosion is in high altitude because it needs to bounce off the earth's magnetic feild thus creating the emp

  • @1RadicalOne The warheads themselves are hardened against EMP effects.

  • I always seem to overlook the obvious...

  • @1RadicalOne

So do I. When I do it just makes me want to slap myself upside the head and say "D'oh!"

  • @1RadicalOne

EMPs have 0 effect on any modern Things American electronics have been EMP resistant for 40 years

  • I rather doubt that. It is expensive and comparatively difficult to EMP-protect a device, and I do not think the manufacturers, always looking for the cheapest route, would do that.

  • @GERMANYisStrong

    You've got it turned around.

Old vacuum-tube and mechanical computer and information systems are much more EMP resistant.

Today's systems rely on much smaller diameter electronic transfer methods, such as microprocessors, which would be utterly fried by EMP.

  • @tattat44 All devices of any importance are EMP-resistant Cheap communist goods aren't

  • You are rapidly losing credibility, since it is beginning to appear that your point is not based on some evidence but because you want to take potshots at "cheap communist goods".

  • @GERMANYisStrong

Yes, we do know that most of the vital military equipment is EMP proof, and some of the Gov, but to make a circuit EMP proof you must make it from Silicon Carbide, which is incredibly expensive, and thus only put in the most vital infrastructure. In the event of an EMP many secondary systems would go down, and reduce efficiency greatly.

  • @GERMANYisStrong

Compounding this, virtually no civilian or utility infrastructure in this nation is EMP hardened, and the chaos and loss of logistics and production capacity would be debilitating in the extreme, especially to a highly centralized command structure such as ours.

  • @GERMANYisStrong

So you have to go to war/respond to a terrorist threat, and now 99.9 percent of the things you need to keep your country running are out of commission until you can find replacements. And good luck with that when electronics production requires, what again? Oh yeah, lots of electronics, how inconvenient. We'd trade for some but A) Stock Markets are down and )B response needed to happen yesterday

  • @GERMANYisStrong

And finnaly, a nuke is a nuke, is a nuke. You don't need any more than 15 megatons to create a devastating high altitude EMP effect, so don't even start with that "Hur-dur cheap chinese junk car"

China created the Dong-Feng 21D missile that renders our pacific fleet a giant bunch of floating coffins and have deployed their own stealth fighter.

  • @tattat44 Communist Missiles oh thats funny as 0 have ever been tested 0 have proven abilty against the AGIES ABM system wich can blast 75 targets at 250 miles and eliminate them. And EMP is ineffective against modern none Communist made goods.

See the Chinese as Slant-eyes can do business but never win a fight against a gloriously White Nation. This is due to racial superiority Against the Communist that Occupy China illegally might i remind you. Also our Navy is designed to survive EMPs

  • @GERMANYisStrong

    Okay, I guess you're a troll.

    Nobody's that obnoxious.

  • @tattat44 No the Chink Missiles are useless against USN ABM counter mesures designed to blast soviet Missiles down from the sky and after those chinks missiles are swept aside we will level the Three gorges Dam and kill 500 Million Communists and force peace in China and make camps to deal with the rest of those slant eyes

  • @GERMANYisStrong

Once you've actually read the arguments you can then prepare counter arguments.

Just saying "Oh cheap chinky stuff, hurr durr" does not count as an argument.

Yes, we know you are a big tough Aryan strongman who doesn't fear anything. Now instead of showing off your dick, maybe you can show off your brain.

  • @tattat44 Cheap made Communist Garbage isn't as glorious as White produced Materials. We should eradicate the Communists for the glory of the union of Free states

  • "...Isn't as glorious as White produced materials".

THERE we go. Congratulations; blocked, but your comments will be left here so everyone can see what a fool you are.

  • @GERMANYisStrong

It's people like you that are going to allow China to surpass us by underestimating it.

Why don't you go back to Germany and help them? They could use it after the steamrolling they took.

  • @GERMANYisStrong you may want to re-think that about the Russian missiles, sub-launched, mobile, and silo-based. They revamped them from the TOPOL- type body to the RS-24 type that has the ability to avoid any type of ABMS including that of the United States.

  • @GERMANYisStrong yes but the US pretty much everything system is not

  • there have been around 1000 test in the USSR including the largest explosion in the histoy of mankind

  • @GERMANYisStrong

Only TEMPEST Hardened gear will survive the HA-EMP ( High Altitude EMP) that would normally be used as the first strikes of a opening Nuclear shooting match. Usual engagement starts with a single or pair of med yield warheads at 230-300 nmi, then SLBMs for X-Ray Pindown of our ICBMs, then the full ICBM Silo launch.

X-ray pindown is using SLBMs to fry ICBM guidence packages if we launch ICBMs through the Sub-Launced barrage.

  • Do not bother trying to reason with Germanyisstrong. See their comment that resulted in them being blocked, and their motives (and mindset and brainpower) will become clear.

  • @MichoRizzo44

LOL EMPs what is this the 70s

  • SOOOOOOOO good! Scary tho. Way good job RadicalOne. This was very well done!

  • If you watch "The Day After", the nuclear strike depicted in the movie was precipitated by Soviet Forces invading West Germany and a Nuclear Strike into East Germany by NATO. This first part almost word for word sounds exactly the same as the news reports in the movie...

  • Well done. Very authentic given when this was done. Bravo!

  • Toronto got nuked! EEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!

  • from hearing this thank god the cold war is over

  • @jakeharris2010 but the nuclear threat is long from gone

  • i dont get it

  • When was this recorded? I know it takes place around 83-84 storyline-wise but man, for this to be done by students... I want to know about the background of this actually being made.

  • I do not know for sure, but it was probably made around the time in which it is set.

  • @1RadicalOne

    That's amazing.

It'd be a chore to put somethin like that together with today's ease of sampling and mixing, I could just imagine how hard it'd have been back then with analog recording.

How old were those people? Like was it a high school class or a grad school or college undergrad.

I listen to the mp3 all the time.

  • College, from what I hear.

  • Is it dick that i recoreded this to my ipod and started playing it on my car radio just to freak my friends out?

  • I am surprised they fell for it.

  • @1RadicalOne Kinda tells you how smart my friends are huh.

  • ...

  • @1RadicalOne LoL okay so I was lisin to the full verson and just as it said 2-3 nuke kabooms, 2 sonic booms hit my house.

  • An interesting coincidence.

  • @kpak44wh NICE!

  • 8:39

You hear that 'Bzzt'? That's the sound a radio signal gives off when the radio in question has just melted.

  • fuck... the last bit actualy gave me goose-pumps

  • this is really cool, if the europe reporter was put on an amber alert type system, i would belive it, lol

  • Not the most "newsy" voice I've heard... "A" for effort, though

  • Almost believable. Almost. Still, pretty good job.

  • JBS radio station and can you understand this is just a bunch of crap? We and the Russians are working together on the International Space Station.

  • For the love of god, STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING! we have an entire planet here, and were gonna turn it into the world of Fallout, but this time, the deaths are real, and there is no respawning.

  • This is almost believable...thats how good this is...great job!!!

  • This is scary as shit.

  • Given that fecal matter is not at all intimidating, is that an insult? ;)

  • Not an insult at all, I meant it as though it almost made me poop my pants.

  • @1RadicalOne have you seen bear shit? thats kind of intimidating its like the size of a basketball lol

  • @1RadicalOne lol

  • Jesus, I've just realised if a major radio broadcaster picked this up as a radio play, you'll have another HG Wells "The War of the Worlds" broadcast on your hands.

  • That may well be true. People are amazingly gullible.

  • @1RadicalOne

i doubt it, we have ifone these days

    and tvs

  • Let me put it this way. When an adaptation for WotW was done for New York State, around Grand Island (near Buffalo), even local residents believed it. Even people within viewing distance of a bridge destroyed near the beginning of the play.

  • airbursts are the worst if ya working on your tan

  • Seems to me as people always thought that WW 3 in Germany.

  • Well, Germany was at the center of the tensions between the two major power blocs in the Cold War.

  • @TheNinetynine well. considering Germany was divided in two between what would become NATO and the Soviet union at the end of the second world war, its logical to assume thats where any future conflict between the two sides between the late forties to the eighties would have occurred.

  • vote out the neocon scum

  • Whaat?

  • Very smooth-running play, alarmingly realistic

  • WWELL DONE

  • So obamas not totalitarian? your a fucking drone no hope for you

  • I have blocked you, but left your comments intact so everyone can see just what a dip%@#& you are.

  • @dansvidco

look up Circular Error Probability. There is such a thing as accuracy for an ICBM

    /trollbait

  • You conspiracy theorists are pathetic.

  • @1RadicalOne why?

  • Read reenlist82's comments - to which I was responding - to see what I was talking about.

  • @reenlist82 Moron... Why "Liberals"??? The Republicunts, in the literature of NWO that you seemingly subscribe to, are the supposed major pushers of NWO...

When you construct a conspiracy theory, make sure it is not ambiguous, conflicted and overly convoluted. People might start to take you seriously.

  • @reenlist82

What... You couldn't post that totalitarian racist crap in public? You had to post it to my profile? You're a bigger idiot than I thought.

  • I just read his comment. As sad and unbelievable as it is, it represents the more coherent and rational side of conspiracy theorism.

  • Awesome

  • I played radio through my P3 in a study period then played this and everybody bought it XD

  • Even with the copious references to 1980s culture and politics?

  • @1RadicalOne Yeah, I played it in a group of people whom were notoriously dumb, the ones that brought it didn't listen in history class or wernet paying full attention.

    They're not bright at all.

  • It is striking, then, that there are those who are unaware of what the current geopolitical state is, or even who the current world leaders are.

  • @1RadicalOne I asked one what a prime number was once and they didn't even know that.

I doubt they even know who our current prime minister is.

  • They do not know of prime numbers, and this is at the University level?

  • @Spudfish93 Oh no, I'm british so when I say college, it's like an optional high school where most idiots go to postpone getting a job.

  • ...Then why are you there?

  • @1RadicalOne Because while some go there to prolonge the ineveitable, some others actually go there to learn.

I'm in the others. The teaching there is of a high quality.

  • I see...

Those who try to put off an occupation as long as possible, what do they plan to do when they can no longer remain in school?

  • @1RadicalOne The head of our college has a name for these people:

    NEET:

Not in Education, Employment or Training.

Pretty much the hoodlums who hang around the play parks.

I'd wager that's what they'll end up as.

  • Wow...

  • Also, if you folks havent seen it yet, I would highly suggest you look up "Special Bulliten". It deals with what amounts to a potential domestic terrorism attack involving a nuclear bomb. It's done in the "this is a live broadcast" style. For being made in 1983, it takes alot of subtle jabs at how news is done and protrayed and is VERY relevant to how we get news now (the whole 24-hour non-stop dedicated news channels). I suggest it for everyone really.

  • Orson Welles would have loved this! ;)

  • This kicks ass!

  • Thank you.

  • awesome video.... I would shit myself cause I live in Brookland....

  • @dansvidco :

First of all, The main SRF( Strategic Rocket Forces) launch array consists of

    SS-27 Topol-M 'Sickle B' mobile TEL/ICBMs SS-18 'Satan' Silo ICBMs

While they are in the same class as the LGM-113 ' Peacekeeper' ICBM, the silos have been maintained only irregularly, and use Corrosive fuels, and take time to load. both SRF, and NATO estimates of launch capability put SS-18 launch at about 40 - 60% success for SS-18, and 85% for SS-27s not the 99% you claim.

  • This thing is a work of art. Historically accurate, realistic in every way.

  • people many russians are good people.stop making everyone hate them!

  • The Russian people were never our enemy just as the American man writing this very post isn't an enemy of Russia.

Russians are a lot like us...and differ in many other areas as well.

  • @mongoose704: Well yeah, of course{No sarcasm here}.

  • @JohnnyDart76 Yeah I was being Mr Obvious but a couple people gave me a thumbs down and someone else sent me a PM about how clueless I was.

Ronald Reagan and our policy makers were shocked to find out that in 1984, the Russians were just as scared of us as we were of them. They honestly feared a surprise first strike from us. It is really tough to see an enemy as human.

  • Yes, you understand what they do, but you have made it clear that if you obtained one, you would promptly use it to kill BILLIONS OF PEOPLE.

  • You have demonstrated that you cannot be trusted with them.

  • and the american govt has?

  • No, but look at dansvideo's comments on 6 of 6 and you will see why I said what I did.
