In order to hold public lectures, you should have lights, a sound system, a screen for the lecturers slides, a camera to record the event for posterity, and you have all that. Unfortunately, there is no one in your entire organization that has any but the faintest notions of what they are for, how they work, and often, how to turn them on.
the highest tax rated countries used to be those of the former Soviet Union. wouldn't say they were succesful economycally.
so just because Scandinavia could do well with high tax rates (so far) it doesn't follow the United States or any other country can.
and there are succesful countries with low tax rates - so I think the presentation misses something fundamental.
