the rotary wankel engine gives the car a very unique sound. It sounds good too like a motorcyle. It is cool that it is only a 6 cylinder but it sounds more like V8 or V10.

@jasluvtian a rotory engine does'nt have cylinders,....thats why it's called a "rotor engine"..., it is not A 6 cylinder engine,...the 787b that won lemans in 91 was a 4 rotor engine,...and it sounds nothing like a v8 or a v10

@tamarod31 thanks for a reminder but i know the rotary is does not have cylinders...however i just use the the difference between bigger more cylinders engines sound to describe how good this car sounds. But yeah..this car is awsome. I know i will turn alot of heads if i drive one of these in downtown and eventually pick up some chicks and fuck them and make them scream even louder than the Rurai itself..hahaha

To make a super car and break or make # generally means that's all you. I you had the $ to buy a street version most ppl would purchase a Ferrari or Lambo - something that has a lengthy track record. Mazda if they build it would be a one off limited amont.

@kernelist1 Yeah, it would be awesome, but for the price people are not going to buy a Mazda..I would..but rich people who don't know shit will obviously go for high end brands.

@Lemans15 Rotaries can no longer compete in LeMans, they are too light and too powerful. 787B got banned long time ago.

@Lemans15 It can't do Le Mans because the use of rotary powerplants has been banned since... Well, since the 787b, to be entirely honest!

If this makes you feel any better, Mazda won this year's LMP2 championship. In a reciprocating engine, though.
