BEEDO hasn,t sen you in some time but i,ll tell you, lovin this tune. check out beedosticks on you tube. like to connect again. that beautiful c.d. is smokin, LOVE IT.
Why was Bonnie not the superstar that she deserved to be? She has one of the best voices that I have ever heard.I first time I saw her was on the Roseanne show where she played a waitress at The Lunch Box.The episode where they were having a barbaque and she started singing you really got a hold on me I was blown away, it became my favorite episode of the series due to Bonnies incredable vocals performance. Bravo Bonnie Bravo
My fave is still "To Bonnie From Delaney" with SOUL SHAKE. The backing musicians on LP were Little Richard, King Curtis, and D. Allman. A nice variety of tunes and sincere, before the BIG reputation with Eric and the tiring tours and that wearing on the spirit, and the bigger money and fame. Soul Shake, lightning on vinyl.
This phenomenal woman has played with the greats: Clapton, David Crosby, Gregg & Duanne Allman, and she has NEVER received her proper dues. Her talent is beyond words !!
@allmansgirl Don't forget George Harrison, Billy Preston, Leon Russel and I think JJ Cale and Hendrix had also crossed her musical path. First white Ikette of Ike & Tina fame too.
Wow. I first saw her years ago in Roseanne and I am only really discovering her now. Does anybody know where to start looking, if someone (me), was looking for her choice material?
@joythedrunk4 Gosh, well, you could start with the "Delaney & Bonnie and Friends" albums from the late 1960s and early 70s. Bonnie also recorded several solo albums after she and Delaney split up. Comparing her early stuff to her work over the last few years, I hear very little decline (if any) in BB's powers. (AND she's still hotter than an August afternoon in Oxford, Mississippi:) --
Try her "Ladies Choice" album if you can find it. She'll be on there with Duane and Gregg Allman. She does some old Motown songs like Hold on I'm comin, of Sam and Dave fame, and You Send me from the great Sam Cooke. AND also on there is "You really got a hol on me. Her best album.
How about this dream Bonnie Bramlett with Bonnie
Raitti and Delbert McClinton!

I saw her in concert almost 40 years ago, with Delaney. IMO, she was the best of the two. Her voice is still amazing.
