sorry for your loss.. and with all the stuff that's going on, that's pretty serious. did you do something specific? like vandalizing a piece of the land?
i just came back from hawaii and i made sure i didnt take anything involving volcanic rocks or black sand back with me. i did take some white coral, but thankfully.. nothing bad has happened at all..

There is a great site that you can send your lava rocks and black sand to. They perform a ceremony and only ask for a 15.00 donation. Look it up.
