You video taped your monitor?
Is that like recording your favorite songs off the radio with a microphone and a tape recorder?
At the very list, mount the camera so we can just see the LCD at a right angle, and keep your hairy arm out of the shot... perhaps a few people won't notice your not using software like everyone else does.
