  • Z + snow = Z hates you.

  • Zs do not like snow, that's why mine lives in Tampa.

  • the first song is so gay

  • Testicles hanging from the rear view mirror??

  • Great car cool stripes, love seeing the dedication but why does every car guy think they are video producers!!! Just some quiet commentary about your work and the sound of the car is all you need man. (I happen to not like this genre', which is not good.)

  • Yes the l28 was from the 280z. I'm currently in the midst of rebuilding an L24 to put into this 240 so it can have the right engine again! The L24 blocks have flat top pistons and the l28 blocks have dished pistons. As you probably know dished pistons were for emissions and such so the l24 blocks have a little more punch to them.

  • @gnomelog You can get Flat Top Pistons for the L2.8 from msa. I'm running an L2.8 in a 72 240 with a Fat Cam Flat top pistons and an N42 Head. It has 10:1 Compression. I'm not sure if the Head was shaved or not though, I got it pre built from msa. Nice Job by the way, looks good with the white snow background...Hope they don't salt the roads were you live, that would suck

  • @gnomelog F54 block'd L28s have flat top pistons. I'm building a F54 L28 with a E88 260Z head, it'll have about 10.4:1 compression ratio

  • @gnomelog nope, you need to put flat tops in the l28 block bro, look at some jason grey info. I had a built l26 in my 240, with dual webbers. It was pretty rad.

  • @gnomelog MSA part # 10-4090

  • Isnt the L28 the stock engine on the 280? Im not too familiar with all the Datsun models so much as I am the transition models like the Z31.

  • race car ya ya's!

  • D: Turn that music off damnit. I want to hear the car.

  • That would explain what i heard that night... lol. Building one of those from the ground up is quite the challenge.

  • good stuff

  • Thanks for the comments! It took me a really long time to decide whether or not to put in the stripes but I'm glad I did. The project has taken me almost 2 years. We built it from the ground up.

  • I like the way you added GT stripes so you don't lose the car in that snow.

  • You got a real nice project in your hands,

  • nice car
