  • I thought you did everything just fine. I didn't see anything wrong but then again, I wasn't riding him. Nice video! What does cooldblooded stand for when you call a certain horse that? Sorry, I don't know how to ask this right, haha. Good, the baby foal after him can show off what his father has.:D

  • is that a freisan?

  • @myahorning12 No its a swedish breed called Kallblodig Travare (Coldblooded Trotter).

  • @SilverSammet Ok cause it kinda looks like a freisan, and i havnt herd of a horse called that, well now i do, and he is pretty

  • please can i have your horse,i love it,i ride aswell and i dont think you are doing anything wrong.your very good riding without stirrups aswell good job!

  • you are not bad at all!!!! YOu are really good for injuring your back and just recovering!

  • I barely see anything u did wrong :D great job!!!! loved the vid and horse=super cute

  • I just have to say something! Im from sweden, I have a trotter... to ride a trotter horse is the most difficult you can do, my horse I started riding when she was 4 years today she is 17, during these years we have done everything, Piaff, Passage spanish walk... everything! And I se potential in this horse, he almoste do the piaff! Thats amazing! with work he can be a really good dressage horse, I think you hwo rides him is a good rider, it is not eazy to learn a trotter to do piaff. Good luck!

  • @MomentOfVictory

Thank you for your kind words.

Indeed it is hard to reeducate a trotter. They have so many problems, mental and their body.

    But I love this breed.

Max is 20 years this year, and he has an old injury from when he raced. Sadly I dont think he will be able to do passage for real, but the collection is good for him.

  • The first time I did ride him, at the seller, I was in love at the first moment. He did do alot of "piaff" and "passage" the natural way when he did show off for the other horses. It was amazing and I though "Waow! This is My horse!" So I bought him even thou he was a stalion.

Today I have a 4 year old son after him, that I hopa alot on. I will start to ride him as soon as I can, I study right now and the year before that I did not want to start ride for real since he was so tiny.

  • u just keep ur toes up

  • @horseluverrider4eva

No thats a misstake many does when they ride without saddle. They think you have to keep the toes up, while it accually makes the leg tensed.

When you ride without saddle, your toes are suppose tp point down.

  • ummm thats a draft horse...you pbly mean he was a cart horse...not a trotter..cus the cant be built like that..

  • No, he is not a draft horse, and he is not a cart horse, he is a trotter.

Its a special breed for sweden, norway, denmark and finland.

And mine is a good one, erned alot of money before he retired.

  • Whats the name of the song i love it!!! You did a good job!

  • beautiful horse :)

it's so cute how confused he is at a couple of times when you want him to move lateral :D

  • Nice horse! What breed is it? I don't think she is a terrible rider... Only her hands are somtimes to high. Your horse is doing well..

  • I used to have a fell stallion that looked just like him! He's so well behaved too. :)

  • hes gorgeous . Keep working on him

  • Thank you =)

  • does anyone know what this songg in the back ground is? I love this video and i thinik its the song with the riding that does it!! Anyone know? Or silver sammet :P

  • It sounds like Enya sorry I dont know the name of the song though.

  • you have a gorgous horseee !!!x

  • Thank you =)

  • Im guessing hes a pretty laid back stud?

Most people who have had bad horse injuries and dont have much horse experience would not go out and buy an unpredictable stud?

  • That would probbably be cause I have alot of experiance and have worked with horses for over 6 years.

He is a horse, he just happened to be a stalion. People with low experience about stalions often assume that they are wild and hard to handle.

I would say that a mare is harder, if you know what you ar doing of course.

  • what breed is your horse? he's a beauty!

  • i havnt noticed any mistakes?hehe

  • exept she has to remember to keep her heels down!!

  • You dont keep your heels down when you ride without a saddle. :) That makes you tensed without sadle but not with, since you have the stirrups to relax your foot on. Something you lack when you ride without saddle. :)

  • You always kept your heels down whether you are in a saddle or not, it helps with your balance... especially when you are trotting. O_O

  • No not really. Thats a myth lerned on ridingschools. =) If you keep your heels down without support from the stirrups, you will get tensed legs. If you got stirrups, they do the work for you and you can balans/support your heels on them.

  • ouch about the back thing, I wish I lived in a place that had large portions of empty land in order to house horses. how do you climb on those things anyway?

  • run up and jump and kinda lift ur leg up thats if the horse is bareback or u sue steps and with a saddleu put ur foot in the stirup and mount up =D

  • beautiful horse!!! i love him!

  • how old are you because you look really small but is it a rule that all horse riders have to be miniature?!!!

I mean im almost six foot and im still growing, it gets me so bummed that I'm gonna have to start riding 18hh stallions before im capable of doing that...dam!

  • Look small? I dont understand what you mean, I am 173 cm and I am 28 years old so, small? No. :)

Most importent is how heavy you are, not how tall you are. :)

  • what country do you come from?

i mean its snowing there so it must be pretty cold...nice horse by the way.

  • Sweden. And yes, it is cold... :)

  • nice horse :))

  • i love that horse!!

  • Dank je. :)

He is my "schattje". If you can say that about a horse, not sure if it comes out wrong when you translate it to your language.

  • I'm sorry about your back. That would've been awful :(

But I'm glad your taking it up again :) Good luck!

Beautiful horse, by the way :D

  • Thank you :)

  • it looks like a frisian mixed a icelandichorse

    its a beaty

  • Thank you. He is neather of it. He is a breed called Kallblodig travare, he is imported from Norway.

This breed mostly exist in sweden, norway, denmark and finland. Some found their way to germany to students to Bent Bradnerup.

  • i luv ur horse... he gorgeous!!! wat kind og horse is he? also, im glad ur back is better... ur so lucky!!! i dont have a horse, and i havent ridden since i was about 6 or 7... and i miss it every day!!! :`( ~flickaluvr~

  • Hi. My hrose is a special swedish breed called "Kallblodig travare". I dont think there is an english word for the breed. Its a trotter-breed. Althou not a warmblood. :)

Men okej, here goes.

  • Du kan visst hoppa med honom! Klart du kan!

  • that hourse is to small 4 u but thats a pritty clasdal

  • Before you say something that stupid again, lern more about horses. :)

Its not about how tall a horse is, and how tall the rider is, its about how mutch I weight and how strong the horse is.

Of course I should not ride a horse that is To small, but my horse is not that.

He is strong and I am not heavy.

Also the rider has to consider what she do with the horse, for example I cant jump with the this horse, but I can ride dressage...

  • i thought if ur feet passed the horses tommy, then u were 2 tall... but u r right, u dont look heavy, and ur horse looks real strong... so i thik he can take it :) ~flickaluvr~ check out my channel

  • Thats Not Actually Right LOL

She Doesnt Have Stirrups So Her Legs Are Bound To Come Below Its Tummy

You Dont Really See People With Stirrups Riding With Straight Legs :P

  • i love this soo much!! i dont know why i just do lol. i agree all you need to ride is a horse and your body. x

  • nice job ou did really good and your horse is soo cute

  • Thank you. :)

He is the love of my life.

  • Well U have 2 b an IDIOT NOT 2 HAVE A SADLLE

  • Well shes riding bare back with a bare back pad. You dont have to have a saddle to ride.

  • are u being sarcastic?

if your not then ur weird (no offence). 0f course you can ride without a saddle

  • I dont know, why do I ride without a saddle... hmmm... perhaps because I dont need one... Huh... Im not as bad rider as you. :) Have a nice day dear. :)

  • Please, tell me Why I am an idiot to ride without a saddle?

Do I hurt the horse? Or, god forbid, do I do something you cant?

  • Hi, I have an ex trotter too. I understand everything you say about trotters, eg; back legs placed to the outside of the forelegs when he runs fast or trys to extend the trot. and to slow them down etc. I have just started with formal NH lessons even though I think I was using NH principles before the lessons. I would be interested in what you thought of my boy "Peanut" just look under my user name to find my videos. He is trotter x welsh section D x TB.

    Thanks

  • Hi, I am on my way to the stable right now to care for my stalions, but I will try to remeber to check out your horse later today. :)

  • what i dont have a horse!

  • barbaroluver1996, the anserw was to lydquine, not to you...

  • o ok but i like the musci you used its really good!

  • Well u have a saddle pad but no saddle. Can u like not get 1

  • Why should I get a saddle?

  • dont you need it to ride

  • If I dont need a saddle to ride? Well all I need to ride is a horse, or a boyfriend... *grins*

Why should I be in need of a saddle if I may ask? *confused*

Its not like an animal that is impossible to ride without a saddle...

  • some people are odd. riding without a saddle is much better but we're not allowed to do it on our yard

  • Thank you =)

  • LOL! UR NOT BAD JUST SLOW...

  • holy ******* I think its bad wen i hve 2 stop riding for 1 week

  • You not bad at riding at all!

    you ride very nice actually!

  • your not bad at ALL!

  • thats a nice horse

  • oh no i couldnt bear to have to stop riding for 2 years !

at least you got back on and once you get riding more i bet you'll be just as good as you were before

  • that stinks! so, u got injured riding? how long did u have to wait for recovery? did u fall off your horse? that's my worst nightmare, falling off a horse. i ride too. the only time I've fallen off waz when I was 7 and rode my cousins year old morgan, and as soon as i sat down, she started rearing up adn bucking. I stayed on for like 8 seconds, so my grandma always calls me a rodeo champion. how long have u ridden?

  • and now my bac acts up when im doin random things esspecially wen im playin my cello but im just glad that i was able to still ride but anyways keep up the good work

  • ur not a bad rider especially sinc u hurt ur bac badly...i dont have a horse an hav takn western lessons and now taking english...wen i fell off in western was cuz my horse was doin this weird skippy thing and i fell on my side and i couldnt feel the left side of my body but i wasnt that hurt and wen i fell of in english(a while ago) i feel flat on my back .. my instucter had to help me up and i couldnt bend at all. i got bac on and walked for 5 mins verry sore ..(next comment)

  • such a beautiful horse!

what kind of horse is this?

    you are a good rider....

  • Thank you, he is a swedish breed. "Kallblodig travare".

They are brought up to become trotters but I bought mine after he was done competing and made him a ridinghorse.

  • Well he sure is beautiful!!!!

Do they sell these horses in the United States ?

and, can I ask how much they go for....

    ;-)

  • Doubt very strong they are sold in USA.

You probbably need to import one form sweden.

I would guess you can buy a nice horse, that does not go as a trotter anylonger (can be at age from 4-13 or older) for about 3 070,12 USD

  • beautiful horse

  • I can't believe that you got back on a horse. You must trust him a lot. Good 4 u

    D~dawg

  • wat the?that wasnt terrible riding,,its probably the best ive seen so far!either way u did great job riding the horse!! lol

  • the song is called Wild Child the album name is Enya A Day Without Rain ^^

  • It's a Enya song. but i dont know the namne!

  • Thats correct, cant find the name thou.

  • wow! that is so great! dont be so hard on yourself! i have seen so much worse! gorgeous riding, gorgeous horse, gorgeous song. Really terrific

  • Most kind of you

  • Ive only ever ridden two different stallion one was happy and the other tried to kill me haha i find them a bit wild for me but generally i prefer geldings fair game to ye xxx

  • I fell off my horse as well and I hurt my back really bad it happend a year ago, but im better so im riding again.

  • Hi everyone.

I have totaly forgot to read all the comment thats been added to my videos.

The music you hear in this is form Enya. I can not remeber what song it is thou.

Thank you for all kind comments.

  • Verty attractive gelding! he looks like 1 of our welsh sevction D stallions lol!

please look at my videos and comment!:)

  • whot is song?

  • pretty horsey you got there =)

  • You're doing a fine job. Nice video. Remember, heels down, elbows in, back straight w/ a relaxed chest. Head as if held by a string - not over reaching, but up and aligned w/the back. Don't look for "quarters" . Very well done !!

  • I think you're riding is nice..nice horse too.. I really love the music from Enya. :)

I've just bougt a new horse, but I haven't been riding the last 2 years..I know how difficult it can be to start all over again. :)

    Good Luck! :)

  • why did you say your bad????????

  • hi, your doing fine, not pulling the at the reins so you clearly have a sensative way of riding. I retrain problem horses and if all riders were as carefull there would be alot less horses with problems. just take your time & have fun. Also your horse looks beautiful!

  • I've seen far worse. Don't put yourself down so much; you're brave for getting back on (without a saddle too! lol) and we can't be perfect all the time.

  • omg that was great!!! wat is that music?? i remember it from when i was little but wat is it called???

  • for an injured person I think you're awesome=)... keep up the good work and dont let getting hurt stop you from riding..... its one of the best things you could do.... good work xxoo

  • Who said your a bad rider? It looked very good to me.

  • whats the musicc pleasee tell us x

  • thats such a beautiful horse!

  • that was a great ride why did you call it terrible?

  • wat do u mean ur a bad rider u have currage to get up on an old trotter with just a pad and do low level or wat ever level of dressage u were doing and just go and u knew how he reacted to ur body ur movement and as far as im counsernd ur a great ridder

  • I mean i broke my collarbone and hurt my back =-(

  • hes so cute!!!!!! I did the same thing. =-( I fell off when my horse and i were going over a jump and he got spooked so i flew and crashed into the fence and broke my arm.back, and my ankle. That was so not a fun ride =-(

  • Omg thats a very good 4 beat walk. My pony always sways and I can't seem to keep her in a straight line. Anyone have any advice? And excellent seat and you have an adorable horse

    :D I have a arab. white pony :D

  • He's got some nice action. Something you might want to try is sitting farther back. It's hard on your hips and harder to balance but it gives a slightly firmer cue to get his haunches under him and "proceed with caution" or proceed slowly, whatever you like. It's something dressage riders use.

  • ur not badd

u have good posture on the horse

and ps. i love ur horse!

  • ur not a bad rider ur a good rider and the horse is beautful i also like the music it goes perfect what is the song and the artist and keep up the good riding and everybody falls off there horse ur not alone i have even fallen off just trotting down a little hill lol =]
  • No stirups???

    Boy im getting dizzy lol.

  • how do you keep such good contact on his mouth like that? He is absolutely beautiful.

  • nice horse

  • Such a pretty horse.

  • Thank you.

  • Excellent riding. I wish I could do that.

Your horse looks like my Welsh Section D cob. Look up 'Gypsy Vanners' and you'll see what a beautiful creature you've got. Keep up the good work. I need to do more with mine!

  • beautifal horse and you look fine! are you in a saddle? oh well w/e your rideing fine and your horse is beautifal look at some of my videos you'll see my horse

  • Vacker häst! Kbltravare va?

Tycker inte din ridning är anmärkningsvärt dålig. Du rider mjukt och fint, och hästen lyssnar hela tiden. :D

  • Looks like a Cheval Canadien. Beautiful horse.

  • a very beatuful 17 hh horse

  • I was brought to tears over the last few photos...Max is such a beautiful soul! He reminds me of my beloved Connemara. He is attentive and well trained. He is being so careful in the mud. I think you have a wonderful partner in Max! Keep on riding! Give Max a hug for me ok?

  • Thank you for your kind words and I will give him the hug.

  • see, i dont see how you're a bad rider on this video...

  • Oh I see. Well I do alot of misstakes. But we getting there. =)

    *bow*

  • wait a min, how are you a bad rider here, again?

  • which track is it ??sorry but i'm not familiar with all of enyas songs.

    what breed is your horse?

just out of interest why r u schooling him in a hackamore and with no saddle ??

  • I cant remeber teh track or from what cd. I school him with no saddle and without bit cause I dont need either of it. If it takes lonegr time its worth it for me.

He cant wear a bit cause of an old injury from before I bought him. I dont like saddle, neither does he.

  • Its a swedish breed. Born trotter, competed in trotting but since I bought him he is used for riding.

  • what is the lovely music.......i'd like to buy a cd of it.sweet horse needs to be more forward even in the walk

  • Its Enya.

  • great job! i prob would have never gotton on a stsllion though! when i got my rly bad horse bite (still have a bruise from a yr ago, long story) and i had another lesson right after that, and i rly wanted to go, so i didnt tell my mom cuz i knew she would freak! lol when i got home, she was like OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO UR LEG!!??? lol Good job! :P

  • hey well done. im a confident rider like thousands of others lolz and will get on anything. but if i had injured myself as bad as you did i would never of got on a stallion lolz!!!! i would have gone on a lazy gelding or something...u no...something that was preditable lolz...stallions arent really so well done to you you are very brave. keep up the riding!!!!! max is gawgus!!!!! :D

  • sensitive horse(:

you`re quite good at riding though . just that its a bit slow .

  • Thank you for all comments. We are still trying to lern me and Max, and he has got some new muscles on his back. "Yeey". So I guess somewhere, a few steps, might be right for him.

  • u did seem tense, but i can imagine y. its great u got bak to riding again. ur very brave

  • I think you and your horse are very good. I'd rather see calm and kind any day. And, you're riding without a saddle, so your balance is excellent.

  • you didnt do badly at all. I think ur a great rider!!

  • very cute horse,keep riding. =)

  • I don't think you did that bad of a job
