ya, when it comes to variety, ya. competition like that made FM99 wake up and make better set lists, but radio still stinks.

if anything, i like what they did to the Fox, much more variety there, and i think that old arlo got a morning show. and they got that trippy Underground Garage thing on sunday nights.

I gave up on the FM99 morning show all together a few years ago. It got to the point where they weren't funny and to tell ya the truth Rumble gets on my nerves.Also i got tired of having Sonja ram Led Zeppelin down my throat every 5 minutes.The FOX is ok but after meeting Arlo who is a nice guy and all but i asked him why they never play any Kiss songs on the FOX he told me that 99 played their music which tells me that he didnt like Kiss or their music so they got no play time on the station.

I think Rumble is funny. His impersonations are pretty good. The problem is, Clinton left office. They had some pretty good songs during his presidency, and quite a bit of original content.

There was no mention that the station would be changing formats. They essentially just spit in the face of those who listened to them.

Yep thats the Max fm im talking about. I guess now that the MAX is gone we're all at the mercy of 99 to actually play something other than zeppelin and ac/dc every five minutes

I guess lady ga ga isnt so bad compared to hearing the same songs played every five minutes but i guess that people like yourself dont mind having smoke blown up their ass. Before Max came around 99 didnt give a shit about the listeners and only after they got some competition did they start to put in a effort to actually make themselves a good radio station. The way i see it if you take away tommy & rumble from 99 you have a very average radio station
