have no idea why they put the lightning in. the whole thing was really edited horibly. The black lump at the top of the sreen is the microphone. the mic they gave us was broken so it would fall down into the shot. you can see it in some of the other films too.
i still don't get the lamp w/ the lightning. and, there's like this semi circle above the show for part of the thing... the freaky laughter at the end was cool though. XD
Oh and not to mention the terrible sound.
