hi can anyone steer me in the right direction, i have been a crane driver in the uk for about 8 years operating dd2 cranes and ships gear on the docks only, i am looking for work on the rigs anywhere, my licences are r.t.i.t.b. so i will need some else i am sure, anyone know what i need.

In the North Sea, the OIM stands for "Only I Matter" and he would not have a clue, or care, what the fuck is going on outside his window - as long as it 'looked' clean when the Rig Manger arrived!!

What rig was this off the side of? North Sea british sector is ok, North Sea Norwegian sector, holy shit. The last platform i was on out there, the top Norwegian H&S guy had no thumbs. Serious.
Beadwacker, just keep pestering the agencies, phone them up weekly and make sure somebody helps you write your cv properly, they get hundreds every week and throw them in the bin for spelling mistakes or missed date of birth. Dont give up it will come, its a good life.
