Not only is this song so bad ass, this is one of the BEST parts of the show. Remember, Jem and the Holograms are trapped, Little Orphan Ashley is stuck locked in a chest and can't get out, and Rio is in the control room. Misfits say something like, "yeahhhhh, sure! if you can FIND THEM! AHAHAHAHA" and this song sneaks right in as they enter the stage.

1) She called them Trash (well Jerrica did) and they view Jem as somewhat snobbish/prude

-They sort of are. The amount of times Jem and the Holograms bad mouth the Misfits...

2) Pizzazz hates how easily liked and adored Jem is. Pizzazz is a rather unhappy person.

They ARE considered at the same level in the show (depending on the episode).

Pizzazz was just a rival of Jem. Like Vegeta was to Goku in DBZ, Sagat was to Ryu in the Street Fighter series, Ayane to Kasumi in DOA, Sasuke is to Naruto in Naruto, Sesshomaru was to Inuyasha in Inuyasha, Kenpachi is to Ichigo from Bleach, Kaiba was to Yugi in Yugioh, and Chazz was to Jaden in Yugioh GX. Bring Jem on DVD.

I agree with what mikecronis said about the Misfits. They had some problems, like take Roxy for example who could not read just like Butt-Head from Beavis and Butt-Head. Stormer had low self esteem and was conflicted like Lance Alvers AKA Avalanche from X-Men Evolution. Clash want to fit in and was jealous of her cousin Video. Jetta wanted to look good, so she lied about her family being rich. Pizzazz had some major family issues, being how her mother left her and her father was busy.

I always felt that she had a more complex personality than the other charecters on the show.

She had much more of a conscience than Pizazz and Roxie (though she was far from being a "good girl") but she was just too weak to defy their peer pressure, so they constantly walked all over her.

I vaugly remember one episode in which a boy tells her that he's fallen for her, and she says shyly to him "Love's never been easy for me".

@SinnFein4ever That's true--Stormer is a more complex Misfit because she is a softie toward The Starlight Girls but she follows Pizzazz's and Roxy's respective leads because the other Misfits probably look at her as a little girl in need of street smarts.

One of my favorite Stormer episodes is "The Bands Break Up" because it also underscores that without Stormer's songwriting, Pizzazz and Roxy and even Jetta don't have any sense of direction music-wise.

@SaintHangman Actually all the original misfits are great friends. The issue is that all of them are so hurt (Pizzazz), or on guard (Roxy), or scared (Stormer) that none of them realise it.

Remember when they threatened to kick Stormer out? It was Jetta who suggested it.

They take advantage of eachother but it is obvious they do all care for eachother (Except Jetta likely). The best episodes to see their relationship complete itself is "When the Stingers come to town" (both of them)
