Nice review, but watch out. I had one for 6 months. One day (unrelated to underwater use) it decided to stop turning on. I returned it to Sony Service in Laredo under my 3 year extended warranty. Sony Service informed me that they had voided my warranty because there was "corrosion damage" I could not (despite significant effort) convince them the failure was NOT related to use in the water. IAM AM POSTING THIS TO ALERT CONSUMERS THAT SONY CAN ARBITRARILY VOID THERE OWN WARRANTY. BEWARE.

@IDancingCorpseI it depends on what pictures or video u take, which quality u use and how often u turn it on and off, it can last upp to 600 pictures if ur taking like the lowest quality, and upp to 250 with best quality :) quite impressive!

does anyone know if there is a way to do autobrackinting (where i can take 3 pics in 3 differnt exposures) that way i can do my own hdr photography? i know this camera does do its OWN hdr( takes 3 pics, differnt exposures and auto combines them) however i want to muanly take all 3 and run them trew a hdr program on the computer.

@xninjagrrl if your talking about it looking bad in sun light you are wrong. the screen quality of the camera doesnt translate well in the video. didnt you hear him ask the camera man if he could see it? he said yes and no. he was talking about how it looked through the video. i know it looks better than that in person.
