yeah sometimes they do use playback but there are reasons for it. Like how Bill has been having issues with his voice, he might have been in pain so they would use a playback to save his voice. There's also the TV station itself. They want the highest quality recording they can get so sometimes they'll have artists on playback. TH could also be on playback if their soundcheck didn't go well.

You also have to keep in mind that they tour almost constantly, so they're going to get tired eventually. They're just human and they deserve a break that's not always possible with their insane schedule. We as fans already ask a lot from them. There's a lot of different reasons bands use playback and just because TH does sometimes, doesn't mean they're anyless real. I don't mean this to be an attack, I just want you to know all the facts before you write TH off as a sucky band.

Well that's your opinion and you're totally allowed to think that. I'm just trying to explain why TH could be using them. If it's to save Bill's voice, wouldn't you rather have the playback? Or if it's to keep the TV station happy that plays their music? It's unfair that such a talented band has to use them, but in every musicians career, they're used. It's true that TH is an amazing band and they don't really need to use them, but the circumstances don't always allow TH the freedom to choose.
