For noobs, either jump twice or if you keep missing the bat then L cancel before you hit the ground. If you don't know what L Cancelling is then look it up.

you need to L-cancel if you want to go faster, it'll get you up to 300 damage

if your having trouble, this might be why

tapping the jump button too quickly and the bat comes down and hits the bag b4 you can smash him...

it took me a while to get the timing down but just hold the jump button down a little longer, a LITTLE, longer...u should be fine

Yoshi - (A) or (Down A) until around 100% (or as high as you can get it) then smash with the bat - Bat should be in hand.

or you can try double jump bat drops like i use. =D. i got over 9k with double jump bat drops.

u need to catch the bat or it breaks, (fades away) if ur lucky it sometimes stays. but seriously one drop and it goes the majority of the time.
