I wish I had met brother Marvin because he was a BLESSED MAN. HE really LOVED GOD! I believed he shouldn't had been in the SECULAR WORLD of MUSIC, then he would had a long prosperous LIFE to old age.
i saw this documentary on tv. He was in England or Amsterdam-I can't remember, but he had straightened up and was doing really well over there, but then he decided to come back to the states, and unfortunately we know the rest of the story. His friend over there begged him not to come back here, but he did and the vicious cycle of addiction got him again. i am 63 and have been listening toMarvin from the beginning of his career. I love him!!!!! thanks soso much for posting this!!!!!!
jay1beaux stay strong. I know how you feel as I have been in the same place. Bless you. It's great to hear this again. I don't think I have ever heard it sung with as much passion and soul as this.
He had so much pain in his voice, but that's what made him stand out because he put his heart and soul in his music. He is truly a legend. His music will always live on.
i have been looking for this by marvin--thanxthanxthanx so much for posting. he is so greatly missed. i have cancer and just listening to this makes me feel so much better mentally. thanks again!
Brilliant i remember the program this came from made just before he died.
