Police are using tazers routinely now. The last time I got a ticket for choosing not to pay a fortune to repair my malfunctioning electric seatbelt, the police officer had his hand on his tazer as he was approaching me. If you take more than a few seconds to reply to a police officer, then may simply decide to shoot you with the tazer.

I have recently learned why people have been moving away from upstate NY for decades -- not just because of the cold -- a speed trap there costs $700.
