For people asking for a method for bigger numbers. This is a method you learn in 5th grade. You have to decompose the numbers in prime factors and write every factor with its exponent. Do this for all the numbers. Then, find the numbers with the lowest exponents and multiply them. For the greatest common divisor you to the same thing, but you multiply all the numbers (each number once and take it with the biggest exponent). 6th grade maths. Sorry if I couldn't explain well.~ :)

I could do this in my head no problem, but 4 sum1 who doesn't know, how are they gonna know to stop at 24, for the multiples of 6. i think if ur new to this, just keep going til 10x6, then compare with the multiples of 8 to look for the LCM. these vidz are good though.

Why don't you try it with hard problems. Find the LCM of 58 and 126, then show us the shortcuts. 6 and 8 is way too easy that I can do it in my head.
