Kerrigan even says she "sees though your "Dr.Narud's" pathetic charade!" in that one mission

basically he manipulated Arcturus, Valerian, Tychus, and Raynor into this big Xantos gambit to get Kerrigan deinfested and killed (he's ultimately behind most of the events in WoL) his plan is going perfectly until the ending cutscene where Raynor fucks it up.

A little bit of info for people. The Xel'naga race is the end result of the zerg and protoss murged togeather. That is why the Xel'naga help and made them. If you are into the story read the books to fill in some gaps. If you want some more information on the xel'naga you should read The Dark Templar Saga they are really good.

@ShadowriverUB Well yeah, but it seems like the Terran are a side race that the Xel'naga didn't count on, since they didn't create the Terrans. I just finished StarCraft 2 though, and apparently if Kerrigan dies the Terran will just be wiped out like the Protoss.

Nobody knows. I downloaded a sound package [incomplete] that says he's Xel'naga, but considering his personality and actions I highly doubt it's true. The Xel'naga are supposed to be benevolent and pacifistic to the point of allowing the Voice in the Darkness to live, merely imprisoning it, and that was a huge mistake if you ask me.

This being we call Samir Duran is obviously neither of those things.

you must defeat zerg mission 9, entitled The Reckoning, in less than 25 minutes. then the bonus mission will pop up. save the game right away so you can play it later, 'cause you can't access through the menu.

Then remake it without cheats if you want to do it fair.

That makes sense. But I say they have a very good chance. Consider that the Xelnaga created the overmind who turned on them and killed most of them. Before that, they made the protoss or at least advanced it and the protoss were confused when they left and also turned on the Xelnaga survivors.

But then again, some theories say that the Xelnaga would BE the hybrids and their previous 'failures' were designed by them also.

If that's true, everyone is screwed.
