I really liked this movie. Dreamworkd animated films at this time always got looked down on by film critics. Sinbad, Spirit, Road to El Dorado. All these greats and the people in charge never gave them a second look.

True when you compare it to other Sinbad films, such as my childhood favourite the 7th Voyage, it may not hold up as well. But take as it is, on it's own merits, and it's thoroughly entertaining and well worth a watch.

That is because the American public wanted more 3D animated films instead of hand drawn. I agree we should have more hand drawn motion pictures of old legends, historical fiction, and more fairy tales even if they are tedious to complete. It is definitely worth the sweat :)
