u guys do realize that Zack didnt die alone. remember how Zack also had a SOLDIER friend who is still in Midgard even after ascaping the mansion. how he contacted Zack about Aerith and the turks. that in the last cutscene u can see broken swords used by low ranking SOLDIERs. my assumption is after Zack gets defeated, his SOLDIER friend along with those SOLDIERs who were still loyal under him came and aided him and all died fighting the last group of Shinra soldiers rite before Cloud showed up.

Wrong. He was dead/dying. The remaining grunts knew it and left him and Cloud, who was comatose, for dead. Kunsel didn't save Zack; he wasn't even around.

The swords were likely from some low ranking SOLDIERS were sent to kill him too, or some of the grunts had swords as backup weapons.

@ballrdd24 then how do u know if im wrong and ur rite. did u research. i've watch every ff7 movies from the animes to CG and played every ff7 game with Zack in it i did not spot a single SOLDIER there to kill Zack. so how r u rite. the grunts never carry swords only guns and frags, only members of SOLDIERs carry swords. not to mention they wore completely different clothing. fyi, dead and dying r too not the same. dying is refer to as ur time is running out and dead as in u R out of time.

Yea its good for a psp game, Zack is an amazing character and his story was just beautiful, i cried my ass off the first time i saw the ending. im just talkin about the actual gameplay, exploration, towns and all that stuff which is very very small compared to the older FF games, and thats personally been my favorite things about FF games. I only liked this game for the story and zack, while i liked for example ff9 for its story AND the huge world with TONS of exploration and interesting secrets
